I was planning on getting a new radio faceplate when i upgrade to a Double-Din DVD Nav system, the compartment above the radio where it slow the passenger airbag information would be removed and I would place the oil preassre gauge and the water temp gauge as well, I think it would give a clean but edgier look.

Did this mod a couple of days ago, it is a noticeable difference on the highway, free reving the engine with the hood up you can hear a nice growl. Glad this post was up, i completely forgot about airbox modifications.

Alot of GM vehicles have these stupid knobs on them, however there is some kind of stupid clip on the pottom that needs to come off the what you do it grip the knob with some channel lock pliers turn like hell to the left. I had to do this with a 2006 cobalt ls manual.
