The only issue is how long do I need to wait before I can think about trading this car in. And if the Spark would be a better fit for me over the Focus.. Right now, I haven't been enjoying the car as I thought I was. But my rents are trying to hassle me about keeping the vehicle or wait 3 years to get the interest off so I won't be upside down on a trade in.

My parents are not interested in smaller cars. Plus they are making payments on the Focus they own. Plus, they said they think it looks ugly as hell.. So I think that sums it up. I like how the vehicle looks.

We right now just have one black lab. Name is Jack, He is about 5 years old now, other than that we had 3 stray cats that stay around the house but we feed them cat food everynight and made a shelter box for them that we left on our porch but we found one of the stray one's that we called "Wild Thing" passed away tonight in his box house. But other than that, just the lab for now. My next mission is either a Ferret or a Sugar Glider. :D

After seeing the Sonic's at the dealership recently and when seeing people who posts pictures of the Sparks they own they look very famaliar so that I could see happening. So I agree. Would you consider those deals or that time frame be better than waiting for the 2014's to come in? Which I think September is the month?

Which you are right about this, but I won't be able to do something like that. So I've been trying to put more money down when my payments come in. If I were to do that I'd just be better off keeping the car that I have now. Not trying to sound rude or anything I think at 18 months I'll go to the dealerships and browse around. But with having to pay taxes on the car, it's gonna be in a bind as far as a down payment goes. But on the other hand I forgot I get a third paycheck in October so that's gonna help me out a bit. Am I the only one who thinks the Spark looks like a mini Sonic?

Sorry for the late response.. My payments started in August of last year but I got the vehicle in April. Right now with a cosign my interest rate is 7.9% and I'm hoping that'll stay somewhat near the same when I go to do a trade in. I've only been establishing credit for about a year now so not sure how different it will be. I'm also hearing two different things from the dealer. They told me to wait two years for a trade in which they said would be best in my position. Or if I really wanted to get rid of it they said give it 18 months minimum.. So right now in the long run I'm gonna wait a ye

True. Forgot, to look at it that way. Are you saying nothing down on the new car or for my Focus? I do, and I don't. I don't like how big the car feels as compared as I used to drive a 01 Mitsubushi Mirage until I gave it to my brother to help him out and I got the Focus. I like the smaller cars more, I think if I had a choice to do it again.. I would have passed on the car. But with my first new car I kinda got lost into it. Overall.. I don't really enjoy the car. I like the smaller size of the Sonic/Spark but with a trade in I think financial wise my numbers would look better with a Spark.

Could of been it. But, I was there around 3pm :-P Oh well.. I'm thinking of hitting the dealership in Fredericksburg as it is twice as bigger and a much wider selection. I'm sorry to keep asking questions, as I find this website to be very useful over Yahoo! Answers.. Plus, I enjoy reading everyone's post when I browse around. Do you think waiting two years to turn in a car is worth it? Or wait a little bit longer? Went to the dealership today, they had no Sparks on the lot. I was greeted by 0 salesman. So I walked off as I had an hour to burn, came back a second time around to look at the Sonics. Still nobody came over, so I'm thinking of when trade in time comes.. I will be avoiding that dealership. Two were smoking & and the rest were using cell phones.

Seen one the other day at work passing by. Bright red one. #1 car I see quite often in my area is the Ford Focus. They are EVERYWHERE I'll be glad if I can trade this thing in for a Spark next year.

Weird. My local Chevy dealer has a black 1LT model.
