  1. Wow, I'm speechless. That's crazy that happened. Your new new setup will sound better, more power and bigger sub. Can you post a picture?
  2. Thats good to hear, literally. Lol i don't like buying referb especially on electronics. So so now you are all set, just follow the instructions in the manual in how to set volume and gains. I also suggest do not use bass boost on the side of the kicker. Leave that at zero.
  3. Wow, what happens when you disconnect the sub harness from the hideaway?
  4. Keep the hideaway hooked up and pull the fuse at the battery. Try turning up the volume past 10. Does it shut off? This above will hope rule out a short. Ok, let's go through your hookup fully. You have power wire wire all the way to battery with fuse by battery. You have the hideaway grounded at one of the rear seatbelt bolts in the spare tire well. Rear speaker wires are correctly wired to the high level input. Now for hideaway settings. Auto turn on set to DC. Switch down Inpu
  5. Now here is a full assembly for a 2012-2014 Aveo.
  6. Have some interesting finds going on with parts. Dealer say you can only buy the bearing and hub separate, instead like most have the whole hub assembly. So after digging around round the complete hub fits many other GM cars. The one issue is it does not fit ABS cars only non abs. Here is the kicker though, all photos show the same hub with the area for the ABS ring. You can buy the bearing, hub, and ABS ring for the Spark all separate. I'm wondering if I could buy the hub assembly and just put the ABS ring on it. Here re is the GM part number to the full
  7. Thank you for the torque spec. Do you have a service manual? I'm thinking of buying them seeing I'm keeping the Spark. I would assume sure you mean grease and pin the bolt you mean after torque grease the spindle threads and hit the enge of the nut to lock it in.
  8. Lol, but I'm south and smooth down here. Looking online I only have to replace the actual bearing. I thought it was going to be a whole assembly. Now on what would really help is to know the torque setting for the spindle nut. Anyone know off hand or have the service manual?
  9. Add me to the list. RR making noise now. Just jacked it up and makes noise while spinning. Have been noticing it for a while now. Time me to get the parts and do it myself.
  10. I think mine is less than half, just over 1/4 and no bass boost on the kicker. At my bass knob it's halfway. Then in Mylink it's negative something. I can check at some point. I would turn all the gains way down to see what happens to rule out the hideaway being bad. Then if it's bad it's easy to swap just the hideaway.
  11. Yes, you need to go all the way to the battery. You are drawing too much from that tap. Besides it way to small of a gauge wire. Luckily no damage yet. Do do you have an automatic or 5 speed? If it's auto then I can help you with the wire run, very simple.
  12. The last comment, classic!!!! I don't remember seeing a photo of you lowered on 17's. Can you post so I can see please? i found it.
  13. Wow, if you were closer I still have my factory wheels and tires. They have less than 1000 miles on them.

Congrats on the new ride!!! Seeing 17 Spark really makes my 13 seem old now, lol. When you get a chance post up a photo.
  16. What wire did you hookup to radio fuse? You need to run the power wire directly to the battery with inline fuse. The fuse needs to be within a foot of battery. The ground can go right to one of the rear seatbelt bolts. Then your signal is coming coming from the rear speakers. The bass boost goes wherever you want it. Now, you might have the gains set wrong or to high on the sub. Are u using the same kicker hideaway?
  17. I ran into the same issue a while ago. I just got a battery at the dealer after trying a few other places. Its a very odd size.
  18. It's not hard to replace the arm. There is a bolt under the cover to remove. The one issue I see is the arm is way lower then where it should be. So maybe something happened to the wiper motor shaft too. What happened to get like that?
