Removing front emblem on 2017 to replace with black

Hi I’m trying to replace my gold front emblem with a black on, I tried following the instructions from from a forum member which were working great, But I could not release the tabs on top grill so it would give me access to the emblem Any would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mrvette

I just Purchesed a 2017 LT 1 color Brimstone , I want to change the stock bow ties front and back, has someone done it, if so can you share the process thanks mrvette
