  1. Looks like a cross between a Focus and a Dart. Change the black in the wheels to match the blue, that would be sharp. The black wheel fad is nearly over. However I love the 2014 Toyota Corolla S much nicer then previous models (I love it in White looks exceptional)
  2. I don't know, when searching air conditioning problems, it sure seemed like alot of the cars with issues were Korean cars..........Rust, yes a friends Hyundai minivan had problems. It was a leased vehicle and Hyundai was saying they were responsible for rust....I knew if I didn't undercoat Spark, there would be problems. I noticed rust at bottom of doors (drain holes in doors) after a couple months of ownership. I know they wouldn't do anything about it until it rusted through, that's when I decided to have Krown http://www.krown.com/ undercoat car. That would be the only thing to make car las
  3. I spent too much time in other cars that were comfortable.......Another issue I had was the car used oil. I have never had a car that used a significant (more than a quart between oil change intervals) amount of oil. On 1 trip to West Branch to check out Elio Motors 3 wheeler, the Spark used 1 & 3/4 quarts of oil (roundtrip 300+ miles). I drove the car like evryone else, meaning the speed limit or above, instead of my typical 65mph on the highway. When I drove the Spark for mpg (which was 95% of the time), the car did not use oil. If I merely kept up with traffic (from a stoplight), it use
  4. Ha ha. Traded my Spark in on a 2014 Paceman. Got $8500 (21860 miles on it) didn't care, I wanted out. Could not be happier with my second Mini (should not have gotten rid of 1st one when I did). ................I'm not saying I will never buy a GM again. I would not mind a C7 or maybe a Cadilac one day. I didn't have problems with my dealer, very good dealer.....I just didn't have confidence in the car, long term, began to hate the car and driving it.
  5. Here in Michigan we have a place called Restock Wheels. Fix curbed wheels etc. http://www.restockwheels.com/
  6. Sometimes a car is too small. I'm finding out my comfort is more important than 44mpg.
  7. Yes I use one here in Michigan. Really noticeable how much cooler car is when using one vs not using one. I got my Covercraft from AutoAnything.http://www.autoanything.com/driving-accessories/60A1228A0A0.aspx
  8. Looked at my second write up. A/C drain hose kinked and leaking. Replaced A/C drain hose........................Last month A/C compressor was replaced.
  9. I don't, when I'm by myself sure it's fine. Two adult males in the front, very tight squeeze. Tough shifting. I'm 6'6" 225 and a friend I was driving around was 6'3". I know someone else here on the forum is 6'5" and his buddy is 6'8" or something and they go to the gym in the Spark. I don't know how they do it. I know they can do it, but I want to be comfortable. Shoulder to shoulder is not comfortable.
  10. My compressor was replaced too. Fixed the problem.
  11. I didn't count my first (dealer filled) tank. I refueled car with 345 miles on the odometer..I refueled again at 707 miles. I got 43.2 mpg. The tank after that was 43.42mpg. For 21,415 miles my lifetime average was 44.63.. The Spark does not like highway speeds (65mph or more), hills, being driven aggressively. For me driving Spark aggressively means keeping up with traffic from a stoplight, not fallng behind and have the 2 cars directly behind you change lanes to pass you. I'm not trying to piss people off...Using higher grades of octane did not increase mpg either, I didn't expect it to, but
  12. Maybe it would help if you understood other people do not think of it(car) as a tool like you do, just because it's not a luxury car doesn't mean it's not as valuable to it's owner. Why wouldn't you want to keep a brand new car(regardless of cost) looking like new or pristine as long as possible? If someone wants to personalize their car, park their car away from other cars because they don't want dents, undercoat car, so what if it's an economy car? Some people take care of their stuff.
  13. The circle is the best part! So you cut circle and seperated (the width of stripe)?
