My LS has rear door speakers. Why doesn't yours? If you have fade on your stereo you should be good to go. Just install the correct impedance and try to get a higher sensitivity speaker. The spark's stereo is OK for the car that it is, but I can tell without looking it's a low power system relying on sensitivity to be loud. Don't expect more than a few watts RMS.
2016+ Spark LS didn't come stock with rear speakers. They have a 4 speaker system. 2 tweeters, and 2 front speakers.

Isn't insane mileage one of the reasons for getting a car like this. My 2017, took delivery May 2017 already has 77,932 miles as of earlier today.
Now I feel a littler better about mine, I thought mine was a little high. It's a 2016, brought it home in February 2016 and it has just over 30k.

My WeatherTech mats are great but I'm noticing that after about 7 months, the are getting to be more of a dirty gray color. I called WeatherTech, they advised using their cleaning/conditioning kit on them, spent $30 for basically nothing. Anyone have any ideas to get them looking like new again.
I'm not sure if this would work or make it worse, but how about tire shine?
-
Has anyone put rear speakers in their 2016+ LS yet? If you did, did you have to have the dealer flash the computer to accept the new speakers or did the stereo automatically detect that they were there?
I ask cause I know some people were looking into it and I have some extra Infinti Kappa 6.5's that I'd like to install.

there is a guy on the forums that found a set for the Karl that supposedly fits
Pretty sure those would fit, since I think the Karl is the exact same as the same.

Hmmm i was hoping it would be a little cheaper just for lowering springs but thats the first one ive seen that "fit" 2016 sparks lol, thanks!
Yw. I'll keep a look out for some springs, since those are quite a bit.
Edit: Opel Karl springs on eBay are about 245-260. The 245 ones I believe are H&R and the 260 is Eibach.

Still have these for sale?
No sorry. One of the ones that were on my car had to be replaced so I'm just using the second set as back ups.

I will let everyone know a part number once I get it. I had to replace the whole backing piece also since the Holden Logo is round, I needed the upper grill with the round logo carrier. changing the whole upper grill and logo took maybe 30 minutes.
I read on one of these forums that all you have to do to change the logo to a black one, is to remove the 2 10mm bolts and 2 push pins that are next to the hood latch. They said removing those would give you enough room to access the badge. Tonight, I did that but that piece seems like it's held onto the upper grill. Is there something I'm missing?
EDIT: Nevermind. I decided to go back out and figured it out.

Anyone have luck finding coilovers for the 2016-2017 spark? Want to lower mine but can't find any brands that have a set yet. the 2015 suspension sure looks similar to the 2016+ suspension wonder if it's the same
Sorry for the revive but here's a set...

it was on my 2013 spark aftermarket .
So that means a roof rack from a 3rd gen will fit a 4th gen, that's actually good to know.

So , I finally decided to trade in the 2013 spark 1lt auto with 110,000 mi for a New 2017 1lt manual . Its really an amazing car the spark has really made a lot of improvements and this one really feels like a high quality ride , Its so quiet inside , the ride is smooth too. I will be tinting the windows soon . I will always have a special place in my heart for the 2013 spark . But this 2017 is slowly growing on me .
Did it come with that roof rack or did you buy that after?

Mr Tozzi
I have that part also with what looks like the driving lights and fog lights but I need to get the car up on a lift for that, I got lucky and found a junkyard near Perth that had a 2017 Holden Spark that got turned turtle so I was able to get most of the parts for next to nothing. The other thing I am looking into is the Chevy Philippines Spark headlights with the LED strip. I'm basically picking and choosing from various Spark's around the world to make a totally one off.
If you get those headlights, can you please tell us where you found them or a part number please?
Also, how hard was it to replace that front emblem? I'll be replacing mine with a black bowtie soon.

I've already tried two of those universal shark fin antennas, the type that goes over your existing antenna base. Both of them didn't fit (Too small). Does anyone know of a universal that might fit? Or will the 2016 Cruze shark fin antenna fit? According to pictures that I have found online, the connections both look the same.
Picture of a Cruze shark fin for reference.

We got ours May 2016, when did you get yours? Until I saw the picture of your car I thought I was the only one with this color in the area. Only ever see a white, black, purple, green, and splash blue color. The only electric blue color I have seen was through the I-5 corridor between Oregon and California about 2 weeks ago.
Got mine February 2017. I've seen one in electric blue in Olympia, and another electric blue about a half hour away? Not sure where it was, I just remember it was while we were camping.
Lately I've seen a lot more 4th gen's in the area, in splash blue, white, and red mostly.

Looks great. Seems you did some tyre polish as well.
Just get the front brake calliper and rear brake drum in car color or may be yellow/red to make it more appealing.
I like the chevy stylised steel rim which is much better than regular steel rims with round holes used by other manufacturers.
Check these here -
I actually don't mind the look of the drums and calipers. If anything I'd upgrade the rotors to drilled/slotted, but that would only be for looks.

On 10/11/2017 at 6:35 AM, Retired old Gearhead said:Just curious, but what is the advantage over the stock rims? Is it for a wider tire?
Just aesthetics. The stock hubcaps or the black steelies are so ugly.
On 10/11/2017 at 10:24 AM, b00duh said:I find most people do it for aesthetics most of the time. What I don't understand is people putting wider wheels on their vehicles and having to dial in as much camber as possible just to tuck them under the car. I understand the positive effects of negative camber when road racing, but some people just take it way too far.
I went with as close to the stock size as I could find and put them on the stock tires. 15x6.5 with a 38mm offset vs 15x6 with a 50mm offset

Ordered some new wheels off www.carid.com (https://www.carid.com/ns-series-wheels/ns1507-black-86315993.html).
Just picked them up tonight from the UPS hub, missed the delivery since I was at work. Will post a picture after I get them installed.

Questions.....
in Chevy Spark 2016+ (Gen IV)
Posted
Um, what? This little car is actually pretty zippy for it's tiny engine. It's very easy to pass on the highway at 60+.
Btw, I wanted to see how fast the car would go, fastest I went was 100 but slowed down immediately since this car is pretty scary at those speeds. The wind throws the car around since it's so light.
