  1. An update to my previous post. Was at the station, and they said that really the camshaft sensor failed, and they have to replace it ( https://www.carid.com/engine-camshaft-position-sensors/ ). Now will check on the prices for the piece, as repair job is also quite costly...
  2. Sadly, but I would agree that reduction of back pressure makes the Spark slower. After a collision I had to get a new exhaust, so I went with one by Magnaflow. And exactly as Skid said, it made the vehicle slower and less responsive to acceleration pedal movement. So, with ordering a new exhaust and a bunch of other hardware like clamps and stuff ( https://www.carid.com/exhaust-clamps/), I wouldn't say that I got anything apart of nice sound. But anyways an aftermarket exhaust is less expensive and sounds better than an OE one.
  3. I am glad Frank shared his story @ this forum, as having put together the fact, that I also have got very similar symptoms. I've got an appointment with a tech tomorrow, so will see whether this is this sensor or no, but sounds extremely familiar to what I have. Anyways, hopefully the repair job and that sensor will not break the bank.
  4. When my center console got scratched, as well as many other interior things, I could live with it. But when the console cracked, and made that irritating buzz when I drove, I got it replaced ( https://www.carid.com/center-consoles/ ). And then ordered a 3m-adhesive dash overlay kit (selected the largest kit with the greatest number of pieces to hide those disgusting scratches). And I must say, I love what I got. Now my mom drives my Spark temporarily and she also likes the refreshed interior.
  5. I also had several electrical issues with the car and replacing the battery plus some electric job did it. Now my mom drivers it, and she likes what she got from me.
