  1. Sitting at the dealership going on 6 hours. New MyLink not programming.
  2. Well, an update. Looks like I'll have to go through a dealership, at a cost of $1100 parts and labor.
  3. Years later update .... that bad ground caused a major issue on a 17-hour trip. Corrosion on the negative terminal made the computer go insane and affected my throttle and transmission signals to the engine. I have removed the LEDs and the corrosion seems to have slowed down. But from past experience with an electrical issue in my old Cavalier, I know finding a bad ground is a long and tedious process, so for now, I'll just stay away from LEDs and keep track of the corrosion.
  4. I have a 2013 Chevy Spark LT, bought in 2016. I live in the Panhandle of Florida and just spent 2 weeks in Missouri while it was 100+ degrees every day. I am figuring the heat is what caused the touchscreen to bubble up. Several questions: 1) Has anyone else had this specific problem? 2) Can this be fixed? My sis was a vehicle mechanic in the USAF for 22 years, so she has skills. 3) If not, what should I replace it with? I don't want to lose the features that the OEM radio has, such as temp readings, etc. 4) Will a dealer replace it with the exact same? I ha
  5. 2013 Spark LT (bought May 2016). Replaced rear bearings and hubs Feb 2018, now all 4 bearings are out again. My mechanic is upset, since I baby my baby, and put a bit under 40k miles on it (Florida roads, few potholes, no clay or gravel driving). We're putting Moogs on the rears and Nationals on the front (no Moogs available locally for the fronts). He's cutting me a deal because of the short time and my family does all their business there. But my '00 Cavalier only needed rear bearings once in her 200k life span (Pennsylvania driving, mountains, snow, ice and 8 years of Florida driving) until
  6. I wish the Sylvania site or their packaging said as much. They just said which model number bulbs to buy per year, make, and model. At least I got my money back. I'll have to have someone with better electrical/mechanical knowledge check on the bad ground issue. Thanks!
  7. I am a newbie here, but I've had my 2013 Spark LT since 2016. Just thought I would share a story considering I didn't find any information about this when i was doing my research....or I never would have wasted my money and time. I lost a taillight, so I thought I would replace all rear lights with LEDs. I have issues with arthritis and muscle pain, so doing it all at once was the easiest for me. Well, 3 hours later, after struggling with releasing the housings and then the bulb sockets ( I eventually had to carefully use a pair of pliers, my old hands just don't have the strengt
  8. Hello All, I am still getting used to my 2013 Spark. On the 17th of May, I was driving home from a 12-hour night shift when a deer ran out in front of me and killed my baby of 12 years, a 2000 Chevy Cav LS, named Cecelia. It happened so fast, I had to review my dashcam footage to see what happened.... The next day my Sis took me car shopping and I found my Kaylee. Denim Blue and more tech than I have ever seen (my Cav only had power brakes and power steering). Hoping to learn from all of you about my new "kid", and all the tricks and treats of driving/caring for her. When I'm not worki
