Found it the rear windshield wiper motor was stuck and then started cooking off...

I have the smell of burning something (electrical but not a plastic burning smell, doesn't smell like that), what i was wondering is what is powered that doesn't time out (not on a 17xx circuit) that could be overheating or internally shorting that is part of the car's parasitic load? I have searched for hot spots and found nothing of note...
