  1. Reading more here on the forum it looks like it could have been the transmission recall software update. I'm really hoping the new transmission has 0 issues.
  2. I recently went in for a transmission flush and recall software fix and within a week my tranny died on the highway. Started shifting real weird, then very high RPMS, low RPMs, jumps etc. They are replacing my transmission now at no cost. 100k warranty. Will keep everyone posted.
  3. This story has a happy ending. Basically I went in a week ago to the dealership to have my coolant reservoir replaced. It had a small leak (not sure how), and they suggested just replacing the entire tank. $189 for the labor and part, which I thought was fair. No biggie. They also suggested a transmission flush and said my fluid was burnt (70k miles). Now, if I was at some random jiffy lube in the ghetto, I would have declined, but this is a nice dealership.   4. I have a 12,000 mile warranty with my 2014 spark 2LT and I also have two years of unlimited oil changes and basic maintenance. I had new tires put on and had them check the recalls and they have all been done. I was just wondering if I should ask for anything specifically to be checked. There are a few people out there who are saying the spark is a piece of garbage and I just want to make this car last for me. I just hit the 50,000 mile mark and so far no issues at all.   5. Hi guys! Happy to be here. Just bought a 2014 Spark 2LT with 45k miles for 10,000$. Also it came certified with a 12,000 mile warranty which made me feel good. Love it so far! Just took it on a 3000 mile road trip. Lots of great info here in the forums. Hopefully I can get this bad boy paid off in 3 years or so! No issues so far really.
