  1. I am with Skids. You haven't even started to play games with them. If that is the only thing you ever have to deal with feel very, very lucky.
  2. I bought my fronts for $30, my backs for $40, and my sub for $150. The sub wiring kit was about $40. So it doesn't cost a whole lot to get good sound. I will have to look to see where I ended up settings wise.
  3. I put 4" and 4x6 Pioneer's in mine right after I got it. i got them on sale so thats what I went with. They were much better but you still won't get any punch out of them. I then installed a Rockford Fosgate P300 12" sub in it that I got off of Craigslist. That gave it the punch it needed and then some lol. Sounds pretty awesome now.
  4. I am by myself most of the time. Right now with running the AC I get 36 combined. It is more highway then city though. WIth no AC during the winter I get a little over 39.
  5. I am seriously thinking about getting rid of mine next summer. Just not worth the frustration between the car and the clueless dealers.
  6. My first guess would be no due to the electrical being so different between the years and between the overseas cars and the American cars. But it would be just a guess.
  7. Does it have remote lock? If so does the horn honk when you lock it?
  8. Its easy on the automatics. Loosen the two setscrews on the front of the shift knob and after they are backed out so far the shifter knob will lift off. Nothing to it.
  9. Totally agree with Skidz. If the tire shop you are dealing with doesn't have the special tool to do the relearn then you need to find a different shop. This is totally a non issue.
  10. i edited this to add that it did it twice to me this morning with the AC off. First time that I have noticed it but did want to report that is happening with the AC off. I haven't worried about too much since the trans is covered under warranty and the update has. made such a tremendous difference. I don't know if they could but I wouldn't want to have to go back to the way it was.
  11. A little more digging and the battery saver feature only monitors the lighting. Nothing else. So yes, if you leave a dome light on or an interior light it will shut the circuit down. Anything else will run the battery down.
  12. The battery saver is nothing more then a program. When the radio comes back on, which according to the Sonic forums is caused by a bad circuit board on the radio itself, it interferes with the battery saver program because it thinks it was commanded back on. The Mylink is tied to other systems which I am sure are being powered on also. The battery saver program thinks these are legitimate commands and allows them to run. Which in turn runs the battery down. i went through something like this with my wife's 2012 Impala. That's where I learned how the electronics work. its a pain in the rear to
  13. What happens is the BCM is programmed to put everything to sleep after a certain amount of time in a certain order. If something interferes with that order, as in this case the Mylink coming back on, then it won't go into monitoring for for battery discharge and it runs the battery down.
  14. It seems only to be an issue, at least with mine, when the AC is on. It has never done it with the AC off.
  15. Take the negative off the battery for a few minutes. Very easy to get too and easy to do.
  16. Mine does it too. I wondered if somebody else was seeing the same thing. Started immediately after the software update. My guess is it shifts late, binds the CVT up just a bit and the steel belt slips. Mine does it the exact same way. Only does it when you you just about to stop then take off.
  17. I did a quick search and it this looks to be quite an issue with the Chevy Sonic's. Most have had to have the dealer replace the MYlink. i did find a couple of posts that said disconnecting the battery for a bit and then hooking it back reset the system and fixed the issue. Easy enough to do and see if ti helps. If not then you will have to either replace it with an aftermarket unit or bite the bullet and have the dealer look at it. It can't be replaced with a used one unless you can find somebody to reprogram it. Chevy says its not possible but one person on here found somebody who after man
  18. Not all cars come with them. The 2013 Volt's have the exact same filter box as ours but Chevy didn't install a filter in it. When I ordered the filter from Amazon there were numerous reviews from Volt owners who were adding them. Plus on ours, the air whether front outside or on recirculate always passes through the filter. I always run my air on recirculate but it is still passing through the filter. Makes no sense.
  19. You do realize that cars run without cabin filters for at least 50 years right? In fact, this is the first car I have owned that had one and I am 49 years old.
  20. It sounds like the fuel is draining back into the tank overnight. Have you tried just turning the key on for a bit before starting? That would allow the fuel pump to fill the lines. I would try that first and see if that helps the issue.
  21. Have you done anything to the car or added anything to it like a sub or anything like that?
  22. You can find them on Ebay. Here is a listing for a set with part numbers. you may be able to find a used set on there. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Premium-All-Weather-Floor-Mats-Front-Rear-for-2013-2015-Chevrolet-Spark-/180969211140?fits=Make%3AChevrolet|Model%3ASpark&hash=item2a229b0504&vxp=mtr Amazon has a set that is cheaper but same mats. http://www.amazon.com/2013-2014-Chevrolet-Spark-Replacment-95166321/dp/B00BBWAW2C/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1435681002&sr=8-2&keywords=Chevy+Spark+floor+mats
  23. One of the things I have discovered is it helps a lot if you pull the cabin filter. It's like adding an extra fan speed. Not only does it circulate more air the air that is reaching you is colder because it's blowing harder. I replaced the original thinking maybe it was dirty but it didn't help any. I am wondering if just getting the regular filter without the charcoal would allow better airflow. I am going to try that next.
  24. As mentioned in other threads i have been having the issue of the AC being intermittent and blowing warm at idle. Some of the parts were replaced under the satisfaction program but my dealer refused to go any further. After further discussion last Friday with the dealer they agreed to call GM to see if they would replace the compressor and the rest of the parts. GM agreed too so the parts are ordered and I will be contacted when they arrive to make an appointment. I will keep this thread updated as we go.
