  1. Be aware that they will only fix it if it is still under the bumper to bumper warranty. A TSB is just a service bulletin and not like a recall.
  2. You would need this and the stereo wiring kit. http://www.amazon.com/SCOSCHE-GM5206B-2013-Chevrolet-Double-Install/dp/B00OYGGZ7S/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1455315132&sr=8-5&keywords=chevy+spark+stereo+install+kit
  3. Yep. And if you look at that part number on the Curt website it says it works with the ground effects. The Amazon fitment guide will tell you the same thing.
  4. I have one on mine. I bought the Curt brand from Amazon and it fit just fine. This is the one I purchased. http://www.amazon.com/CURT-11316-Class-Trailer-Hitch/dp/B009PHUDFQ/ref=au_as_r?_encoding=UTF8&Make=Chevrolet|47&Model=Spark|21603&Year=2014|2014&ie=UTF8&n=15684181&s=automotive&vehicleId=7&vehicleType=automotive
  5. The oil life monitor uses a complex equation (algorithm) to determine oil life. Its based on how you drive, conditions, and mileage. On my car, with the way I drive, it seems to come on at around every 6000 miles. i usually change mine at 5000.
  6. There is a TSB for this. Has that been performed on the car?
  7. Either that or go to a relay setup which is probably how it should have been wired in the first place on something with such a big draw.
  8. This one is $85. http://www.amazon.com/Kent-Moore-EL-50448-Pressure-Monitor-Activation/dp/B00A3UNYW8
  9. You may have built more engines but I can tell you that having it vent before the throttle body is an issue and if it can be avoided then by all means avoid it. The throttle body will get gunked up. But due to the drive by wire it learns to deal with it so you don't notice it. Then you unhook the battery for some reason and all of a sudden it idles poorly, won't hardly run and you can't figure it out because all you did was change the battery. Then you have to pull the throttle body and clean it out front and back. It is a very common issue and GM should be shot for continuing to design them
  10. DO NOT vent that in front of the throttle body as somebody suggested above. This will gunk up the throttle body. GM did this exact thing on the Trailblazers and it is a major issue with driveablilty over long periods.
  11. Whats the code? Find that out first before just guessing and throwing parts at it.
  12. Does yours have the Mylink radio? If it does then it seems to be a common issue with the Chevy Sonic and from what I have read on their forums its an issue with the Mylink itself. You can try unhooking the battery and letting it sit for a few minutes then hook it back up and see if that resets it. If not then its a trip to the dealer.
  13. I would look around to see if they left a ground disconnected or loose. I disagree with it being a starter issue. It has seem to be some kind of electrical gremlin created by the bottle replacement. A bad ground makes more sense.
  14. Funny. On my 2014 its in the space where the spare goes. There is nothing in the glove box. My son's 2014 Sonic is the same way.
  15. And be prepared. What the dealer is going to charge you is not going to be inexpensive. I wouldn't be surprised if its not clost to $300 by the time you are donw.
  16. Look in the area where the spare tire would go.
  17. I would check the wiring at both wheels. Sounds like they either knocked the plug loose for the wheel speed sensor or damaged it in some way.
  18. He had stated in the other thread that he had started that it was no longer under the bumper to bumper warranty.
  19. Totally agree. I had a big post i was going to post yesterday basically saying the same thing but in more detail then decided it just wasn't worth it. You just have to keep in mind that there are people on here who aren't as informed as they think they are.
  20. Be very careful about doing this if the car is under warranty. Even reversing and going back to the stock tune then taking it in a tech with the GM scan tool may be able to tell if its been tampered with. GM has been going to great lengths to make sure the PCM/ECM hasn't been tampered with in anyway.
  21. Mine bucks too although it seems to have got better after the software update. I also think its a by product of the CVT. Mine only did it at extremely low speeds like when I was going through a parking lot. Usualy just speeding up a bit wil make it go away.
  22. I posted in your other thread. Yhe thermostat is electronic and quite a unit. The issue could be the ECM that controls the thermostat or in the wiring and who knows where else. I would take it to a dealer to let them figure out where the issue is.
  23. Isn't it still under warranty? The thermostat is electronic and quite a unit.
  24. Totally agree. I replaced front and rears with Pioneer's and then installed a Rockford Fosgate P300 12" sub. Sounds awesome. You will be very disappointed in the sound if you do reciever first.
