I read up on some older threads about full-sized wheel/tires fitting in the storage area underneath rear cargo carpet. I measured my compartment and it looked like it should fit so I bought a used Spark wheel on eBay for $105 shipped and a used tire on Amazon for $48 shipped. Had the tire mounted and loaded it up today. The cargo carpet is a little raised due to the spare, but nothing I can't live with.

Thanks, Walt. It's not cheap, but cheaper than repainting. They use factory color code to mix the batch for your car color so it looks pretty good. At some point, I may try to build up some of the deeper chips but I'm happy with the first pass. I think it was money well spent.

The hardest part is dripping the touch up paint and squeegeeing it messily all over and around the chips. I tried a small area first and then used the blending solution. I was comfortable enough to do the whole hood after that. I waited at least 5 minutes for the paint to dry before blending. Prior to adding paint, I used a q-tip and rubbing alcohol on each chip to remove any wax (I think that took longer than the paint part!). I recommend watching the YouTube videos prior to using it. It really seemed too easy and too good to be true, but I'm a believer. I only wish I would have found this

When I recently bought my daughter a used 2013 Salsa Red Spark 1LT, the only cosmetic flaw was pretty significant road rash (multiple chips) on and around the hood. I got a good enough deal on it so I purchased it. I started searching around for touch up paint and found a bunch of reviews and videos about www.drcolorchip.com. It seemed easy enough so I bought the kit with squeegee for just under $75 USD shipped. I spent about an hour today and have posted some before and after pictures. I am very impressed with the results. You can find some of them if you are looking closely at an angle or kn

After a lot of research on this site and others, I bought my daughter a "gently used", red Spark 1LT automatic. She loves it and I have to admit, I like driving it too. Appreciate all the information posted to this site!
