Tomorrow I have a ham radio coming in that I need to wire to the battery. It will be a pair of 12 gauge. I can't use the clutch plate hole. I see another big hole/grommet with a lot of wires already in it right behind the negative battery post. Is this a good location, or is there something easier? Right now I'm thinking of just poking an icepick/sharp coathanger or something through the edge of that existing grommet and calling it good. Thanks for any advice. - Joe
