Having the same issues. To fix it, I restart the car and it seems to go away. Leaves no code in the ECU, so dealer will do NOTHING! Car is eating 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles, dealer days this is "within spec." I get great gas mileage, but this car won't see 100K miles...

Dear Fellow Spark Owners, I'm having an issue with my 2013 Spark and was hoping that I could get your opinion. I'm currently at 37000 miles, and for the last 7000 miles or so I've been losing about a quart every 1000 miles. The dealer says this is normal, and that I shouldn't be waiting for the code 82 to pop up to change it (usually every 8000 miles). He said I shouldn't go more than 5000 miles between changes, and that's why I'm losing so much. He actually said that less than 1 quart every 700 miles was "within spec." I've never had to add oil between oil changes with any car I've owned
