SO, a little over a year hasn’t gone by since this happened and was fixed. Last night after turning my car off for a few minutes upon restarting it has happened again. 

I called the dealer they have no knowledge of such defect with the new update. But I'm going to call the service manager because I know him personally and see if he has any information. 

I just had to replace my tank on 2013 with 72,000 miles due to leakage. Luckily I was close to home. Quick , easy fix but should not have to replace this type of part. Pretty sad.....

So the plastic stem/nipple for the hose to attach to the reservoir for the coolant return is cracking. I have fixed the leak for now but the tank is going to need replaced soon. The dealer is charging about $45 for the part after shipping. Is anyone else running into issues.

Is it the big "wheel" with grooves or a small wheel that's smooth. Or if you have a wheel with the fan attached directly to it. If it's the last it's probably the idler/clutch that's is part of the assembly and needs replaced.

I've been reading these complaints and wandering what the issue is because I've felt my sparks 2lt speakers were fine. I checked my settings and I was at 0 bass and mid and 6 treble.

They say it's been fixed with the new one and I haven't had problems since. They say it must have been damaged prior to the recall but can't replace it till the cel comes on.

The injector issue was diagnosed about six months ago when I started getting some other recalls done. I mentioned it had issues with stalling at take off from a stop. They ran some tests and said it was the injectors. The pcv was replaced about 6 months ago when the recall came out. Prior to there was minimal oil usage. Then oil usage started and the car started flashing lights and not shifting a few times then they said the spark plug in #4 was fouled.

Built date 01/13 2LT 4spd auto. 27k miles. Not quite high miles. But I've only had for about 1 1/2 years. In that time I've had a few issues. All recalls done except hood latch bc dealer says they don't have parts. Then I had my injectors replaced. The rear sprayer didn't work right after I got it. That was fixed. Then after pcv recall oil consumption increased slightly and cel came on with traction control light and wouldn't shift. They (the dealer) found an issue with the number 4 plug and replaced it. So far no more issues.

My oil issue has seemed to stop for now. It was never severe but I keep an eye on it.

Idk the the site but there is a place out there that will give you compatible tire sizes for your stock tire. It might be tire masters website. I found a few years ago when I was shopping for tires for another car.

My worst with hard driving seems to be around 32-33mpg. But 34 is common on short drives with lots or aggressive type driving. I don't think I could get it under 30mpg very easy. I drive 80-85 mph a lot lately and still stay at 35-37 mpg on a long drive at those speeds.

My Manuel says it's a closed system and not to mess with it.

So after some reading and research the vvt engines and oil life monitor can cause sludge build up if the right oil is not used. Also even with an oil life monitor it's important to still check your oil levels and look for sludge build up in crank case by taking off the oil fill cap and looking. I just check my oil it just now has 3k miles since last change. The oil life monitor says it's still 57%. I tend to change mine around 20-30% any ways. So I'll probably get another 3k miles out of this oil. However, it was at the full hash marks when I changed it. But now it's at the half way mark. So I will continue to monitor that. I don't feel that the 1/4 qt of oil burnt in that time frame is unusual. I am just now at my 20k mile odo mark. So I know some of you began burning oil at that point and so I am going to keep a close eye on it.

Yes that would be nice, I wonder if the system in the Spark has the hardware to handle that?
