  1. So I got cold air in stop and in go. Mpgs are back up too.
  2. Check with dealer. Car is done. I'll see when I pick it up after work if it's cool. I also had them check on my hesitation and they are ordering 4 new injectors. I've yet to be able to get a loaner during theses fixes I hope I can for the next service appointment.
  3. Called the dealer today. They said the parts had just arrived and I can bring it in today's and it'll be worked on tomorrow. I asked about a loaner vehicle and was told they had none.
  4. My 92 metro got 50+ reliably. Often 55-60 even at 90mph.
  5. 1996 chevy truck that I spend a lot of time playing with and fixing up and 2011 chevy traverse for moving the family around. Plus my spark.
  6. I work for the state. I'm a case worker in a prison
  7. I'm at 20k and no noticable oil consumption. I have been checking since you guys brought it to my attention. I'm really surprised there isn't a dummy light for this. I just did my first oil change the 3 previous were done at the dealer. I wanted to see how difficult it was to change and I also wanted to use full synthetic. Dexos approved of course and correct weight.
  8. I agree I am hoping they will this next time. For the actual fix.
  9. Took mine to Stanley chevy in mccordsville, Indiana Tuesday. They looked at it and said it needed numerous parts replaced and that it would be 2-3 days it's Saturday now and I've yet to hear anything. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I'll have it back. They have not offered a loaner car and when I asked they said they were out. So hopefully I can figure out a vehicle for work when they are working on it next week.
  10. I took my car in Tuesday they are ordering the parts. Said it'd be 2-3 days and they'd call and schedule another appointment to fix it. It is Friday now and no call yet. Hoping for Monday. But they have yet to offer a vehicle to me while it's in the shop and when I asked they said they didn't have any. Luckily I have an old chevy truck at my disposal. It's not had these issues.
  11. Mine goes in Tuesday to get assessed. I have had no a/c issues until now. It started a few days ago maybe a week. Cold doesn't work at idle or Low speed in fact at idle it's much cooler with the windows down. It's 80-90 in my area during most of these days.
  12. I'm didnt like bringo. It would shut up if I was a few miles am hour over the speed limit trying to keep up with traffic. Also I wish I could just use my phone or tablet through the mylink.
  13. When I first got the car I took it on a 20hr round trip from indy to Texarkana. About 3k miles round trip. Car did great. Avg about 43 mil/gal
  14. Mine had for awhile in the beginning kinda stuttered the first few minutes I started and drove it. I have 17k on the odo now and no problems for awhile. Was running great on 93 octane too tier fuel but now it's do in it again and not just in the beginning. I'm hoping it's just some moisture in the fuel I recently got.

    Oil level?

Mine took just over 3.5 almost 3.75 qts. This was my first time doing it myself. New ac delco filter was about .25 qts it's the smallest filter I've seen on a engine. My lawnmower used a larger filter.
  17. I'm in Indiana too. My spark does great in the moderate terrain here. But I've drive. It to Texarkana and it did great.
  18. I get asked about mpgs and how I get in and out. I'm 6' and 250lbs. I tell them it's great on mpgs but small tank means I'm at the pump a lot. They also ask if it's an electric. As far as getting in and out. I tell them it's like the T.A.R.D.I.S. It's bigger on the inside.
  19. It's not the wrong post it's in reference to increased mpg with higher octane levels. If you read previous posts above.
  20. Idk y but can only guess the spark recommends 87 because it's cheaper and the stand gas rating. It has variable valve timing and an advanced ECM so it can adjust and burn whatever. But other high compression engines especially ones with a 10.5:1 ratio the same as the spark recommend only using 92-93 octane. The higher octane allows higher compression before combustion and it's important in a high compression engine. But with vvt it's can adjust the spark timing to be delayed so lower octane can be used. I've been using 93 for awhile because my car seems to run better.
  21. 16,200 for 2LT. Had to order the car from the dealership and have it sent to me from 500 miles away. Only dissappointment was that I was under the impression I was getting 2014. But while that was the model shown on the chevy website it was not the model the dealers had yet.
  22. Ok so the 1.25L engine LLO used in the U.S. Is a high compression engine. It's 10.5:1 So it should burn ethonal or E85 well but may not have the proper seals and gaskets bc it doesn't day you can use it. But it has vvt and many other sensors allowing it to run in 87 octane.
