You're getting screwed on mpgs. Mine reads 3k at 70mph and id avg 42mpgs on a trip like that or better. -

I'm only 3k rpm at 70mph. I have a 4 speed auto in my 2013. At 75 through 80ph it's stays at roughly 3400 rpm. At 81mph it does get one more bar on the tach. I can't remember for sure what 60mph gets me but I think it's around 2500 rpm. -
Yes. But not really familiar with how to put pics on this forum. Pm me and I can email them or something

My worst with hard driving seems to be around 32-33mpg. But 34 is common on short drives with lots or aggressive type driving. I don't think I could get it under 30mpg very easy. I drive 80-85 mph a lot lately and still stay at 35-37 mpg on a long drive at those speeds. -
Compression is 10.5:1 But oil must be checked frequently in this engine and I July recommend full synthetic. It's a vvt so the oil passages are super small and don't do well with sludge. The oil life monitor is great but will let you go 7k+ miles and the service people recommend no more than 5k miles so who do you trust. Of changed at 5k and checked regularly you should be fine. If you ever hear a ticking sound it means you need oil now.

Today while changing my oil I look up from under my car and saw that I had a loose bolt by the driver side tire. It's the Silverish ones holding the plastic underskirt together. Checked the rest and they were a little loose. But that one was half a turn from falling out. Luckily I caught it made sure to tighten it and the rest of them.

My Manuel says it's a closed system and not to mess with it. -
I have the black metallic granite. It doesn't look brown at all. It's black to greenish in the light.

tinting issues or just lazy installer?
njresler replied to Skids's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Mine are done and look good. There is a little more of a gap the the other windows but nothing to complain about. -
radio shutting off?
njresler replied to littlecarlover's topic in Audio, Navigation, MyLink and Navigations
I did it once. But I turned the car off for a few and it worked on restart -
If you give it gas it disengaged. Do if the clutch is still not at the friction point you'll never notice it

Maybe they didn't change the oil, filter, or they didn't reset the oil life monitor.

In the U.S. I think they are iridium and good for 100k miles.

I need to pull my plugs and take a look for any unusual fouling.

I had my injectors changed last Monday due to power loss/hesitation. My car is running great so far. I had it in for the a/c fix and mentioned the issue so they ran some tests and said the injectors weren't functioning properly. I guess they were correct b/c it seems to have solved the issue.

Thanks

Where are the plugs at on this car? I've looked and of course there is stuff all in the way. I'm guessing they are in back and under the plastic stuff. But I am not seeing them any help or pics?

Removal of muffler difficulty?
njresler replied to LiveFastDieBeautiful's topic in Accessories & Modifications
As long as it's done securely. If the hangers don't align with the factory ones just use some wire to make it fit to the hanger and twist till it's tight. -

You may have to rig something with bailing wire or a coat hanger. -

As long as the pipes are the same size ( given the muffler has to be slightly larger to slide over) which is how they are built. Makes sure that it's is capable of sliding over and being clamped, which should be a given. But I'd check. If everything is right it should be that easy.
