  1. My car did this for the first time. I'm at 26k miles now and my oil has been consuming oil, but only a few ounces between changes. I feel like my car was stuck in 2nd. Luckily I thought about the possibility that stopping and restarting the car would help. It did help. I have had other issues and restarting the car has resolved them in the past. I will be contacting the dealer for service.
  2. Mine does great with stock tires. Only issue is deep snow.
  3. I paid $15 for some touch up paint from dealer
  4. I drove mine through Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas when I first bought it. I have a 2013 with the four speed. Really wish it was the cvt or a 5 speed. Although with the car shifting to 3rd and. 2nd up some steep hills I see why they only used a four speed. I live in Indiana so a fifth gear would have been nice for me when I'm on the interstate which is relatively flat. But, my spark handled the mountainous terrain of Kentucky, Tennessee, and Arkansas very well. Had to hammer down pretty good sometimes going up steep grades.
  5. How do you like the cvt around mountains of Washington PA. My wife's family is from there it's pretty hilly.
  6. You are under warranty. Take it to the dealer. It might be the fuel injectors or a bad fuel pump. The dealer can asses it and fix it. I had to have my fuel injectors replaced already.
  7. I do like the idea and ability to notify. I am surprised there is not some app for it. But trying to stop a criminal yourself is risky for lots of reasons.
  8. No real point. If the thief is taking the car and you get there in time to see him pulling off what are you going to do? You can't use force to protect your property. You can call the police and in a few days you'll get your crashed car back. The sound of an alarm is a good detergent and gets peoples attention to see who the thief was. But unless the police are right there your car will be gone. In most jurisdictions you can't use force to stop a crime, unless someone is endangered by the crime. Your property is not justifiable for using force. Especially not using your firearm if you carry o
  9. Idk the the site but there is a place out there that will give you compatible tire sizes for your stock tire. It might be tire masters website. I found a few years ago when I was shopping for tires for another car.
  10. Just based on data since the pcv install I'm getting better mpgs. Not that I can't and don't get 40+ regularly on mixed city/highway driving. I was averaging 37mpg for past few months. Rest Yestersay after pcv and with about 200 miles mixed city/highway/interstate I'm getting 42 mpg. Mid 40's is expected on my highway/city normal drives. But with the frequent interstate quick hops (I live less than a mile from a major interstate exit) I get around 37-39 mpgs. Today was about 75% interstate so higher mpgs are really unexpected. Hope it keeps up. I'll not reset it for a few weeks and see if it
  11. Idk y. But my spark seems to run quiter.
  12. It's a racket how the price of blades has gotten near $20 a piece and they might last a year before they deteriorate.
  13. Anyone notice increase or decrease since PVC UPDATE.
  14. I have the 2LT. It came with ground kit. Back-up camera would be awesome.
  15. I was told over a year ago when I bought my spark that the mylink would have an update that would allow it to have different backgrounds and a few other neat user options. I have yet to see them and I am told my firmware is up to date. Anyone have or would like to see some more personalization options?
  16. My sparks time doesn't work when I leave it on auto update. I live in Indiana and it's is eastern time. However until about 8 years ago it didn't change time. When I tell mylink to auto set time it is an hour behind. I have had it looked at since I bought it over a year ago. But no luck fixing it. They also say the firmware is up to date. Anyone have any ideas?
  17. Yes. I spent $15 for some touch up paint and keep in the car for whenever I notice a new chip. I have the black metallic.
  18. I still love my spark. 25k miles and about a year and half of ownership.
  19. Took a quick 30 mile trip on interstate at 75 got it to drop to 35.5 mpg avg from both trips. So apparently it handles city life much easier. Got off interstate and back in to city driving and it's avg mpg started to climb back up towards 36 mpg. I can get 50+ mpg if I drive it on highway or major road with few stops at 50mph.
