  3. Any pics of your install? Did you do an aftermarket deck? I can't find anywhere where anyone has done a new deck in a 2016+. Been contemplating building a fiberglass/MDF box into my left hatch area removing that panel back there for more depth.
  4. I couldn't smell anything, I could just hear a hissing sound. It didn't happen as soon as I got it recharged it worked fine for like 2 days but the hissing was a couple of days afterwards, which was strange.

  6. Was there a reason you posted this in a Chevy Spark forum and not a Chevy truck forum? Not a lot of traffic around here anymore so you may not get much help if any at all. And why is this posted twice under different names?

  8. I did a complete led upgrade all around and before I had resistors in to prevent hyper flash. I then took them off and replaced the flasher to an led flasher about 2 months ago. And I just noticed that my brake lights don’t work in my aftermarket led tail lights. I know it’s not the led chips themselves because they’re connected as my turn signal lights as well. I have the running light that works, then my brake light is what lights up for braking, turn signals and hazards. My turn signals work just fine and my hazards work just fine just no brake lights whenever I brake. My 3rd brake light works too if that helps. Thanks in advance!! Will explain better if this is too confusing just let me know!

  10. AC repair can be very costly. Probably one of the reasons they got rid of the car instead of fixing it. If the leak is inside then it could be the evaporator or the lines going to it. Usually that means a complete tear down of the dash. Did you smell or see refrigerant or oil?
  11. I am starting this post to give people easy information for custom turbo options. Some of these are tiny. Twin turbo option??? Lol
  12. Cshine, no unfortunately they do not fit. Also goes for the brakes and rotors.
  13. I'm not really up on modern vehicle ecu performance upgrades. Sometimes It feels like the drive-by-wire is holding back the revs I'm trying to give it and I would like to eliminate that sluggishness and inconsistency in the power delivery.
  14. When i first got the car the AC wasnt working, I thought maybe it was just low on coolant I got it recharged and after a couple of days when I turned the AC on, it made a hissing sound and eventually stopped blowing cold again. Is this a common issue? I could hear the hissing from inside the cabin, do you think theres a leak in the line or could it be a compressor? I have a UV torch but I don't really even know where the compressor/condensor is in the car to check for a leak. Does an AC repair run a lot of money?
  15. body kits

Cosmetic hood vents... Cheap carbon fiber look that I had to cut a bit off and heat gun the edges slightly. Looks decent but purely cosmetic.
  16. I hope you mean tune and not chip. Most if not all chips are scams. A tune is different and is specific to make, model, and your desired outcomes. It will also make your warranty useless so be aware of that.
  17. Alright, so I found an assembly for a Chevy Aveo. Does anyone know if these parts can be used in a 2014 Spark? It seems like they're a very similar vehicle. https://www.completestruts.com/product/19852/front-pair-quick-complete-struts-and-coil-spring-assemblies-2-11403-11404-001
  18. Looks much better with that red paint.
  19. Great idea. Might even get a few psi of ram air boost at high speeds or against a strong wind as a bonus.
  20. That idle sounds much smoother than your earlier video!
  21. I think a performance chip would unleash the beast of this over restrained all aluminum dohc 16v engine without sacrificing many MPG's but I don't think anything is available yet. Intake and exhaust mods would just be expensive noisemakers without a chip (not that there is anything wrong with making it louder if that's your thing).
  22. Trade it in for a 2016+. It comes with a spare as standard equipment.
  23. If I wanted the experience of Mitsu Mirage ownership I would start by pulling out one of my spark plug wires.
  24. The 6*4 COB LED last very less time. Replaced that with 48 SMD LED matrix (6*8). It's really bright. I tried some LED festoon bulb, straight swap with OEM, those are brighter than OEM. But after using this 48 SMD LED matrix, I didn't changed. Other LED change are T10 in license plate. So far I did it at non-critical one only. Changed the T10 for parking but after turning headlight combination of white and yellow doesn't look good so back to halogen. I need to dig pics of license plate and dome, will update later.
  25. I have completed the cargo lamp. Check that out in below post. Those who have trunk light already they don't need much work as they can simply replace existing bulb with LED or if they want to put light in 2 place it's still easier. The flexible light I used is the one sold normally as "Audi style DRL" having silicon tube outside and LED inside.
  26. Hey guys my name is Chris. New to the forum and have been lurking for a while. I have a 2017 spark LS. Been stalking the audio section looking for a solution to the crappy factory audio. I have added a set of Orion Cobalt components in the front doors. Going to be adding an amp and a 10 or 12" sub in the left rear probably custom MDF/fiberglass when I do. I'd prefer to not us a LOC because I have a 2nd set of Orion components to add to the rear. I was initially going to do a 5ch amp but think the sound would be horrible taking 1 2ch LOC and using RCA splitters to get signal for 5 channels. So now I'm looking to find an aftermarket deck that will fit our dash since there is no dash kit for 2017+. I'm not concerned about wiring a deck into the factory wiring I'm OK with splicing it into the factory harness so I can have RCA outs and better sound. What decks are you guys using in 2017+? My end goal is 4 - 6.5 components and a sub figure the easiest solution with good sound quality would be aftermarket deck and then add the sub and mono amp. What are you 2017+ owner's using for better sound? I can't imagine the stock deck can get loud enough with just 1 pair of components and then using a LOC for a mono amp. I think the sub would drown out the rest of the audio. Attached pics of the tweeter location I chose for the component set. Made my own speaker bezel from MDF for the doors to clear mounting depth. I live in the desert so very little rain to warp them. Thanks!
