davioh 0
Ok, now it's been announced at LA autoshow..a little disapointed it's got some good stuff fast dc charging (not sure where there are chargers and how it effects battery life/longevity? WISHLIST FOR THIS OR ANY OTHER EV; #1. Minimum 100 mile range.... yet to be seen in Spark I hope it does. #2. 6.6 KW charger like focus EV (more available and realistic than Fast DC standard) who knows when or where it will really ever materialize? #3. INDUCTIVE CHARGING CAPABILITY...I may be totally wrong but there could be a big future in this one (less chance of theft of wires and vandalism)....I can imagine this happening to me the cord is gone and a non charged vehicle!!! #4. UNDER 30 K $ pricing...Ah well another one that is $20k Higher than the gas version...I think the price spread is even higher than the focus am I wrong? So all in all there are 4 things I am wanting that it currently doesn't have. All that I am seeking seems Fixable by GM. I am hoping by 2015 they have it fixed...By then it will be 25 years since the EV1 came out...it seems like a long time for them to engineer a replacment!!!
Riverspark 28
I'm going to see how the next few years pan out with my 2013 Spark LT2 (I love mine) and that may decide if I will add the EV Spark to compliment my current one :D
Greg_E 211
I'll just say, nope. I would need to be able to charge at work to make it worthwhile, and even then I don't think it would fit my lifestyle.
