virginiaspangled 0
Hi, I have to get my front passenger seat belt replaced in my 2013 Spark. I am really worried because I do not have a lot of money. I have 3 kids and my son with autism sits in the front. Have you ever had a seat belt replaced and how much does it cost? I've found some things online about different companies having warranties or lifetime free seat belt repair because of safety issues, but I can't figure out if GM/Chevy has that. I don't want to end up paying for it and then finding out I could have gotten it for free (if I can even pay for it). Thanks
Retired old Gearhead 201
Was the seatbelt defective? With some more details maybe we could help with that issue as the safety issue thing is kind of a grey area.

Mr.tozzi 66
A new oem belt assembly would cost you over $200 not including install. Installing is easy, its just removing a few trim parts unbolt the old and bolt new one, you just need to find the torque specs for the fasteners. There are some places that repair belts, but i have never used such service, plus i would never trust a used pulled from another car or repaired belt to protect my child.
