Mollie.Von.T 0
So I have had my 2014 Chevy spark since Feb of that year and have had more than a few electrical problems with it. Now that I am having battery trouble I am having a devil of a time finding a battery. Whats more the dealership wants to charge me $198.89 for a glorified rollerskate! Can anyone give me any ideas as to what you guys have done when faced with this problem?
Ray Dockrey 97
Some have taken the dimensions and went to Walmart and found something of similiar size. I replaced mine about three months ago and got it at Autozone. My local store didn't have them in stock but the main hub, which was about 15 miles from me did. Here is what Autozone is showing for a 2014 battery http://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/battery/duralast-gold-battery/832332_771973_0 EDIT: Nevermind, that one says it doesn't fit. So far, this is the only one I could find. http://tinyurl.com/jr5o76n Edited March 16, 2017 by Eric1984
Retired old Gearhead 201
Yup..that one is OEM and will fit..I know Walmart has a variety of batteries that will also fit..$79 with same specs as OEM and some a bit more $$ for more Crank amps.. I have use the Walmart batteries..both conventional and deep cycle for my boat and cars..Deep Cycle gel batteries for accessories like TV and lighting etc when the generator is not running and they charge up again when under running conditions..very long lasting on a single charge ...so almost all their units are OK and priced well.. IMO.
