It's all math...All you need is properly drained, then ask for the oil you want...Synthetic is better...Filters are mostly the same...then lastly check the level for proper fill...you can go about 1/4" over the fill line. Before they start tell them exactly how much oil the engine takes (last few pages of owners manual) as some just assume or round it out...can't do that on a small engine.....Only difference between 3rd party and dealer is price and filter brand.
