Both keys broke. Should I purchase regular key?

I'm just wondering what risk would it be to spend $75 on a key that might or might not work. Both keys that came with my car are broken.

there are protection plans for the car keys that you can purchase if you loose or break a lot of them.

My car insurance covers them , though I have never had to use it .

How are they broken..are they physically broken like key snapped off or electronically broken like they look normal but don't work? Snapped off..you need to find a third party one that is for the Spark and follow the enclosed instructions to program/link it to your car..fairly simple. Just plain not working you need to see the dealer for a reprogram or replace..I recall one other member with snapped off key part and he ordered a 3rd party unit online and was able to reprogram it by following a simple procedure.
