mitogt 5
Yesterday took my Spark 2013 for brakes since I started to hear the metalic part, took it to the dealer, you can see the photos, to me it is a warranty issue since seems a manufacturing defect of the rotor, the brake pads still had material on it at least 4mm i will replace them new as well as new pads but Chevrolet didnt say anything about warranty. your comments are welcomed
mitogt 5
well it has all the new parts in, will cut the disks in half to check resto of its build. will measure it with a digital gauge in our metal shop where we can manufacture steel parts. Found some EBC crossdrilled ones and brake pads for years end will replace it.
mitogt 5
Had them cut in half as you may see it is clearly bad manufacturing quality. Check your disks guys. All new parts on and driving normal, brake pads should of lasted 30,000 miles but the rotors went ou before.
