grpen7789 0
Got a 1.2 LT 2012 spark and the passenger side window operates much slower than on the driver's side. Dealer said it must be due to lack of lube or something but i suspect the alignment of the window glass is the culprit. Anyone got the same problem?
Skids 108
If its window glass alignment youd hear screeching or scraping. mostly likely the motor is just wearing out or bad electrical connection. either way pain in the ass the figure out and youre prying off door panels. first check if using the passenger switch lowers it faster than using the driver switch. if it does its your driver switch and a little wd-40 cleaning the connectors will help. if its the same then just go straight to the passenger connector to the motor and clean it there. youll also be able to check the lube (like the dealership says) Retired old Gearhead

Miraj Choksi 16
I have the same problem and same window but for me its the driver side as I have the left hand drive one and its not the motor its the alignment of the glass gone wrong because when I touch it and align it the window winds up fine. grpen7789 0
I do not think this is from the motor wearing out. I have this problem since i bought the car brand new. Tried to ask the dealership to have a look at it during service but i dont think they bothered to do so

Unless it really bothers you or making unusual noises, the painful process of removing and installing the door panel only to find everything normal may not be worth the bother. Mine is the same since new...slightly faster drivers side than the other 3 that are (±)the same speed...doesn't bother me at all.
