Kazzy08 0
Hello, I'm a new Chevy Spark owner, and new to the forums. I just got the 2015 Chevy Spark LS. I'm loving it so far, but I need a middle seat in the back. Will the back seat from an older model spark fit the 2015? Thanks! -Katie
WaltK 305
Hello, I'm a new Chevy Spark owner, and new to the forums. I just got the 2015 Chevy Spark LS. I'm loving it so far, but I need a middle seat in the back. Will the back seat from an older model spark fit the 2015? Thanks! -Katie It should, as from the 2013+ , they are all the same. I'm a little confused though, where are you going to put a middle seat??
Kazzy08 0
The back seat has a cup holder thing in the middle instead of a seat. Do they not usually have 3 seats in the back?
Ray Dockrey 97
They all come with the middle cup holder. There is no third seat.
Kazzy08 0
Well...crap. I know absolutely nothing about cars. Is there any way to install one from a different model? I was told Aveo parts might fit it. I need the seat for a new job I'm trying to start, and wasn't aware of it until after I got the car.
WaltK 305
I think it might be kind of tough squeezing three adults into the back seat, my girlfriend has an Aveo, and the back also seats two, quite closely. I think chances of getting a bench seat are zero to none, try throwing some sort of cushion on the console, might work. Some States also require safety belts for the rear passengers, which would present another problem. Good luck!
Kazzy08 0
Yeah, I'd need a seat belt and everything. I doubt I'd ever use it, but it's a requirement. For some reason they had the Spark listed for the job, but it's unusable without the 5th seat. Oh well. Thanks so much, everyone! I'll keep searching for a solution.
JSpark305 7
It might cost a bit more but you can always reupholster the back seat and have them remove the cup holder and make it a full bench seat.
leighmaxwell 6
Hate to be the third person crammed back there.
Kazzy08 0
Would it be difficult to reupholster myself?
Kazzy08 0
Guess it doesn't matter, got approved for the job anyway Thanks everyone!
Schaltz 27
Yes, you can fit the rear seat from an older model. The 2010-2012 has three rear seats, and fits 3 people with ease. And since the car is still the same, you will find mounting points for the seatbelt.
Romeo62185 10
I am currently in the process of making a piece that will fit in that cup holder for all spark owners to purchase. Basically turns it into a small cushion.
Miraj Choksi 16
You can get a rear three seat without cup holder from older model or from India or Philippines because my spark has a 3 seat in the rear
Romeo62185 10
Yes but is it the same material?
Miraj Choksi 16
Yes same.
Romeo62185 10
can somebody post the link on where I can order it
Ray Dockrey 97
Its not going to be that easy. You are going to have to find one overseas and then who knows what the shipping will be on it. I would start with Google and Ebay.

dulsaf2630 9
Well, I think its best to just put something in the cup holder.
Romeo62185 10
That doesn't add seat belts though

Andre Ruette 0
And makes it higher Did you ever make that backseat conversion ? I want to use Uber or Lyft and the cupholder conversion like you mentioned is key to people like myself.... the 3rd seat in the back enables ride share folks to get approved. wkkzx10 4
I wish we had the cup holders in the back seat here. You can only get a full seat in the back here.
Retired old Gearhead 201
I wish we had the cup holders in the back seat here. You can only get a full seat in the back here. Each of you has something the other wants so why not make a shipping arrangement to swap the real seats? {];-(|)... Personally I would just take it into an car upholstery shop and have them smooth it out and install a seatbelt, assuming the InsCo will insure a car designed for 2 ppl in the back changed to carry 3ppl...lots of fine print when running a commercial vehicle operation.
