Whosgottamatch 0
Has anyone else had an issue replacing the rear wiper blade on their Spark? I've tried 12-As from Rainex, which aren't shaped correctly and won't fit on the arm, but with everyone else, Bosch, Anco, etc, the top half of the blade doesn't touch the windshield so only half of the blade actually works. The only one I haven't had this issue with is the OEM one that came on the car, but it's a Bosch exactly like the aftermarket one I bought.
WaltK 305
I haven't had to replace my rear one yet, maybe someone else here has, and can chime in with a solution. If nothing materializes, you can check with the dealer, they should stock them, or at least be able order one, and although the price would probably be ridiculous, the blade fully sweeping the glass, now becomes his problem. njresler 14
I've had the same issue. The replacement doesn't conform to the window.
walkerbunnie 1
Has anyone found a rear wiper blade to use? Edited March 25, 2015 by walkerbunnie
jibb3r 29
I'll be in this boat soon. I've noticed both ends of my rear blade are peeling back. This page seems to be the OEM version of the rear blade, but they want $11 to ship it! So I googled that part number, and seems you can get the OEM blade on eBay for ~$13 shipped. Ray Dockrey 97
I bought a Trico 12A today and it fit perfect. Paid $12 after tax for it. Got it at my local auto parts store.
jibb3r 29
I bought a Trico 12A today and it fit perfect. Paid $12 after tax for it. Got it at my local auto parts store. Does it clear the whole path of the wiper, where the glass is curved?
Ray Dockrey 97
You know what, I see what you are talking about and no it doesn't. But I still had the old blade so I swapped just the wipers and that works perfect. So at least I am not out my $12. But I guess I will have to order a factory one next time. Ray Dockrey 97
So comparing the two the issue is the contact points. The stock blade has four contact points and my replacement only had three. The replacement can't flex enough to follow the curve due to the hinged part being on the inside. This one would work. There is a review where it was installed on a 2013 Spark and it worked just fine. He also complains about others not following the curve. Choose the 12" option. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00COE3ZHA/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687542&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001KS2PXQ&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1GJ21RD0BT1FC8K995YP Edited March 28, 2015 by Ray Dockrey

I'm due, and I'd like to avoid any headaches. Thanx....
jibb3r 29
After reading this post a few times over the past few days, I decided to replace all three wipers today. I'm still using all three original blades and they were showing their age.I found a rebate for Michelin for the front, so those were easy. The book at Walmart says the Rain-X A-12 is an "exact OEM fit" replacement, it had the 4 contact points like mine so I got that one. I must have missed the first post of this thread... I've tried 12-As from Rainex, which aren't shaped correctly and won't fit on the arm... So that's going back tomorrow, and I'll try the Michelin from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00COE3ZHA/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1944687542&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B001KS2PXQ&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1GJ21RD0BT1FC8K995YP Unless someone else has had better luck elsewhere? Apparently, the "fitment guides" can't be trusted, if they won't even attach to the car properly.
WaltK 305
Just a heads up, in case you weren't aware, the review on the Amazon page, calls for a 12" blade, your link points at a 14". Here is a link to the review. Let us know how it works out. http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RDEAHSDQ7NEX1/ref=cm_cr_pr_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B00COE3Z8E Edited February 24, 2016 by WaltK lespoole
jibb3r 29
Well, the wiper fits. It clears all but maybe an inch, right under the brake light. That's being picky. The clip that secures the adapter to the wiper broke off in my hand when I tried to install it.Not really a big deal, just a poor design. Added some glue, good to go!That's my official rear wiper review. WaltK

WaltK 305
I got the 12". Thanks for the info, I ordered just to have one, when I'm ready for a change. It sounds like the best fit up to now................
Kevin Pavey 4
I got a 12" from Valeo. Had to carve a lot on the joint to get it to fit. Still doesn't contact the glass all the way, but oh well. Edited April 13, 2016 by Kevin Pavey
WaltK 305
I finally got around to putting the Michelin on the rear yesterday, great fit, nice sweep across the glass. No problems, I would recommend this one as a good option. lespoole
Chevygurlroq 2
I need a whole new arm for my 2015 is this easy to replace? I've shopted around parts stores and the only places that have them are my local dealerships. I found 1 for $9 (does not include installation)
bluer101 241
It's not hard to replace the arm. There is a bolt under the cover to remove. The one issue I see is the arm is way lower then where it should be. So maybe something happened to the wiper motor shaft too. What happened to get like that?
Chippy848 9
Michelin rear blade is exact fit and the only blade so far that does the full sweep. I've went through several blades to find this out
