Greg_E 211
Found this today, thought it was interesting: http://www.mail.com/business/economy/2898218-engineers-switch-hell-began-gm-recall-woes.html#.7518-stage-subhero1-1 From the sound of it, internal people had an idea that the switch was underrated but nothing got done until recently, and that there was a change made to the part, but not a new number. I've seen some of the same things at work so I can't say I'm surprised by the knowledge of the problem, but not changing the part number is seldom seen, it should have at least had a revision suffix added. psquare75 35
A friend has an 05 Cobalt SS. If he knocks the dash hard enough with his knee, he could sometimes get the car to turn off, lol.
Angrybird12 61
Honda was just fined 70 million dollars by the US government. Is what they did as bad or worse in your opinion to what GM did? http://jalopnik.com/honda-fined-record-70-million-for-not-reporting-1-700-1678267036
