robertlane 18
Maybe they should have taken a page from Ford's Fusion playbook and used the Cruze as the body for the Volt? It's too early to see if that will work for Ford as Toyota has had a great success with the Toyota Pruis, which like the Volt has a unique body.
LukeC 3
That wouldn't have been too bad an idea. Overall, the uniqueness of the single body for the single model should pan out

Kam 1
Wow, what a bomb for Chevy. It's too bad things were not more thought out before hand.
robertlane 18
It's been stated that the Chevy Volt has been a technological boon for Chevy - but bad media has hampered its sales pace and acceptance.
Kam 1
I'm not sure but right now I would also stay away from the Volt. Too many issues.

Alyse 0
Yes Ford did. Lincoln also has done it but I heard they are working on doing away with it too.
LukeC 3
It is high time that these car makers start thinking outside of the box instead of dusting off an exhausted body/platform.
