2013 Spark + Black Plasti-Dip

Here is my 2013 Chevy Spark with fresh Plasti-Dip on the wheels, sides, spoiler, hatch opening, and bow-ties.

I like everything except the black around the lower hatch area.

I like the over lap on the trunk.

Your car matched my car dip per dip minus the over lap.

btw how did you get the stripes on without having the dip come off with the tape ?

Paul, yours was the first dipped car I had seen, thanks for the ideas.

For the stripes I put three quick coats on waiting about five minutes between (or when it started to look dry) then immediately peeled the tape after the third coat.

i figured it was a quick tape removal.

BTW your spark will definitely stand out next to another one. You can really tell the difference. i look at pics at how mine was without the dip and wow it looks so simple and boring lol

Nicely done! Please explain how you did the sides. I would do this with mine, but I fear it will look like an abomination after I am done.

The sides were done by masking off the indented area then spraying. I just followed the contours with the tape, sprayed, and peeled the tape off after a quick third coat.
