bluer101 241
Did going up to 17" wheels negatively impact your MPG?? Not that I'm aware. I put them on after about 1000 miles on stock. My average MPG is 28 all around town, stop and go. I do know they feel lighter than the stock wheels. Edited March 25, 2014 by bluer101

Retired old Gearhead 201
Got tired of the rough ride. After my first unrepairable flat I had my mechanic instal 4 Falken Ziex ZE-912 205/50r/15 on the stock rims. Smoother, better handling & quieter with almost no speed change. Mpg is down a very little bit at higher speeds. Price was cheaper ($85) than the stock tires ($110). Little better traction on fast corners. jingsparky
stevesparky 20
Wonder what the largest tires you can put on stock rims without rubbing on anything? I have been thinking of buying new tires. Thanks.

Retired old Gearhead 201
Wonder what the largest tires you can put on stock rims without rubbing on anything? I have been thinking of buying new tires. Thanks. I talked to my mechanic about that and he recommended 205/50r/15 as the widest without rubbing or speed change issues. I did that and like the tires as explained in my post above.

I would have to a see one in body color to decide if it looked good. I was actually thinking of plastidipping my stock wheels black and adding a stripe.
