  1. What is the absolute best MPG's that you have recorded with your Chevy Spark, regardless of city, highway, etc.?
  2. Ive seen many chevrolet sparks have a mpg display on the instrument cluster but mine doesn't, is there a way I can get it. I have a 2016 spark LS manual.
  3. The indicated gas mileage varies too widely among posters with similar cars, fuel type and driving habits to be mathematically accurate. Why? Consider the following. •The DIC has a menu option for 'Units'. 1 is Imperial units, 2 is US units, and 3 is metric units. Those that have it set to #1 in units are getting their mpg readings for imperial units rather than US units. An imperial gallon is bigger than a US gallon, thus it will read a higher mpg than your actual miles per US gallon. To see the difference, look at your average mpg and now switch between 'unit 1' and 'unit 2' and you wi
  4. Wish me luck, anyone els wana drive at 40,45 and no head wind and join me?
  5. Hello everyone :-) New owner 2013 Spark LS AUTO Trans On the display, the option for the current L/100km consumption. I am wondering, when first taking off after a red light or a stop sign is it normal for the display to show anywhere from 15-30 or so L/100km? I find this is always the case until I gear up and am going 50-60km/h then it calms down to 5-8L/100km. I realize that the car is doing a lot more revvin but wasn't sure if this was normal?
  6. So how much is everyone getting? What have you found really affects MPG's? I only have 1600 miles on mine and my best is 45mpg. My low was 38.5, that was the first full tank and it has gotten better each time. Does the traction control make a difference with anyone? Scott
  7. Recently I filled up and drove my Spark about 80-90 miles. According to the onboard computer display, I had managed to achieve a whopping 45.3 mpg during that part of my trip. I was driving from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach, dropping elevation of course, and filled up with gas across the SC line where gas is much cheaper. At any rate, I was curious as to what the best mpg others may have gotten during their driving experiences. By the way, on the return trip, only 38.5, but still better than the 37 listed. Of course, my former Corolla would have gotten the same amount of mpg, but the Spark
  8. From the album: Ted the spark

41 mpg life (40 at pump) and 401 on a full tank!
  9. Ted the Spark hits 60.7 mpg! or 59.7 at the pump, new record! Ted gets 50 mpg at 50 mph all the time and 60 mpg at 40 mph but I feel that is to slow to drive anywhere far. Loving my new car!
