  1. Anyone have an idea what the generic reference number is for the headlamp on the 2013 Spark 2LT? I would like to put something like a Sylvania Silverstar into my car but can't find any references.
  2. I was speaking with the service dept. at my local dealer. He stated that a new part number has shown up on his catalog for a spare tire kit (not the can of air) with no price on it yet nor availability. As soon as he can get ahold of one he will let me know. BTW: the 2013 Sonic my wife purchased had a spare tire kit (with a real tire).
  3. I purchased a 2013 Spark 2LT with a manual trans and in black granite metallic paint. I have almost 4K miles on it. My purchase criteria was: affordability (I did not want to become a book of the month club member again financially), I needed to be able to fit in the back seat without being cramped (I am 5'6") and I wanted to get a vehicle with around town MPG in the upper thirties. So far the Spark has been just fine. I can put 12 bags of groceries in the back, I get about 38 - 39 MPG around town and I find that it is relatively fun to drive. 4. Service contracts are commodity items these days that can be purchased through any dealer authorized to sell a GM extended protection plan. I bought my Spark in MA but ended up getting the best deal on an extended GM major guard plan through a dealer in the south via a web search. I purchased an 84 month, 84K miles, no deductible plan for $1.6K. This was a real GM extended service plan, not an aftermarket plan.

  6. I recently purchased a new 2013 Chevy Spark 2LT with manual trans. So far so good. I am getting about 38 MPG around town and in excess of 40 MPG on the highway. I was thinking of replacing my OEM headlamp bulbs but can't find a reference to a generic replacement number (I. e. H11, H13, 9008ST, etc.). I would really like to get a set of Sylvania Silverstars but can't find a proper reference. If anyone knows of one please post. Thanks.
