  1. Enjoy your new car. It is a fantastic automobile, in my opinion. I choose jalapeno green too. It is the most unique color I have found.
  2. Hello. Welcome to the forum. I cannot answer your question, as I have a 5 speed in my car. It is a high revving engine. I second austex04 advice about getting the 2014 model. You will benefit from lessons learned on the 2013's.
  3. It is nice to see how most of the damage is isolated away from the interior area. The safety features seem to have worked well. Seeing the photo's makes me feel a bit safer driving this car.
  4. I miss the days when even the small cars I owned had open access to the under dash areas where you could add small pieces of equipment. It was a nice hiding spot for things like this.
  5. Hmm, I guess I will try them. I am going to buy 3 oz's of beads per tire and have them placed in my tires. I should know if they work by the amount of miles I get on them. I will get the tires remounted and balanced. Tire rotations should be the only thing I need to maintain after the bead install. If this works out, then the new tires I buy next time will have the beads in place from the first mile. Experimentation 101.
  6. Farwell, friend. Decisions like this are tough to make, but at least you are free of this one stress in your driving experience. I was halfway tempted to trade mine in for a Prius the last time I had mine serviced. The used car price was enough to jolt me back to the reality of my budget. Good luck, and God speed.
  7. My car was fixed almost two weeks ago. I am content with the repair and my car is finally cooling at idle. Am I convinced that the issue is completely fixed? I am not so sure. The temperatures here in Memphis have cooled off and the humidity has decreased. That does not give me the confidence to say that I am 100% sure that my a/c is ready for the dog days of next summer. I am happy it seems to be working better, but am sure that this a/c system is not as strong as it should be for our cars.
  8. Welcome to the forum. I am 46 years old and love this car. I know it is going through some growing pains, as most new model release's do when being sold in the U.S. I am hoping that General Motors will step up and make good on their commitiment to not only their customers, but actual investors as our tax money helps keep this company going.
  9. Yes, very similiar. Over the weekend, I created one that looks like my car. They are fun to drive in person and in the game.
  10. It is not available yet, but Rockstar will release it eventually. I do not understand why there is a delay on this one title. Most game companies release all three game platforms at the same time. You will enjoy it.
  11. I have been driving many of the cars on the game. My favorites so far are the Feltson and the Coil. Once I make enough money in the game, I am going to see if I can customize one of the mini cars to look like my actual car.
  12. I have started playing Grand Theft Auto 5 last night and the first thing I noticed was that there is a car they designed that looks very similiar to our Chevy Sparks. It is funny to see so many of these little cars existing in a imaginary city on a video game. It made me laugh when i started driving one of them in the game.
  13. It is a shame that not only General Motors, but other mainstream corporations use third party company's that employ people who generally don't know anything technically about the issues that consumers call in and try to resolve over the phone and get away with calling it customer support. Where is the actual support?!!!! You almost have to feel sorry for the people who handle the high stress situations that must be experienced on a daily basis. I hope that learning all of this information about the a/c issues, customer support issues and dealership experiences make me a better, yet frustate
  14. Greg - I have looked closely at your statement and researched it. You are correct. For average drivers, such as I, it is better to just check my tire pressure regularly and fill it with air. It makes for a more cost prohibative method to lengthen tire life when using pure nitrogen. Do you have any idea about the dino beads? Have you heard of anybody using them in smaller tire sizes such as ours?
