Haha sweet, I got tired of taking test drives in used cars and none of them pleasing me with what I know. I think that this will be new thing to have Spark get together sort of like a Sparkpalooza once or twice a year.

Doubt you going to get any competition with the Sonic provided it's a 1.8L engine versus our 1.25L engine

Cutting and stripping all these wires and pulling connectors out sounds like molesting the car more than anything.

Guess it's time to disable the stupid warning chime as it irritates me to turn the key on to listen to radio while cleaning the car out. Bet it's the same one that sets the warning emergency brake chime on.

I am with you as I had good luck with Penzoil Synchromesh Synthetic in my Geo Metro so one way to find out. I will drop the fluid when I get back to Texas at end of month, filter it and look for any metal shavings, then refill it with good stuff. If they can't put right windshield wiper fluid in these cars that works a fuck I doubt they got the right transmission fluid or even the oil right.

Apparently you can't coast in neutral going down mountain with these transmissions and put it back in 5th but you can put it in 4th instead since 5th gear is of it's own and doesn't rotate with vehicle speed as the 4 other gears do. So basically don't hesitate to go from 4th to 5th even though cruising down a hill or mountain, the longer you do the more you spin the gear up before hitting 5th.

No racing here either, though it has good traction control as I found out coming off mountain just rolling in neutral going around double hair pin turns twice the speed limit posted staying off the brakes to prevent a slide.

Down in Texas we get them to 320,000 before hitting the crusher sometimes more depends on the owner.

Might see more better results after this oil change. Going to 0 20W synthetic oil.
