  1. The only issue I have around the intake is the MAF sensor. I guess if you can find an intake system that has the same or similiar MAF sensor on it, then you can adapt and make an intake for the car. The sad reality though is a high flow K&N filter is already way overkill for such a low displacement engine. The only thing you "may" get is a sound change on intake at full throttle if you change to a short ram or CAI. The physics behind the very low amount of air being sucked into this small engine make in unnecessary to add a CAI or Short Ram and get any worthwhile performance
  2. Finished the back a bit. Still need to do the spoiler and maybe the roof.
  3. I can't imagine how to keep rasp down with such a small displacement 4 banger. I've never had any good sounding aftermarket exhaust on anything 4 cyl without a turbo.
  4. I can't find them in the USA... You can order them from Europe though, but shipping will be a monster. 1.4 inches... seems to be about what all the others are running.
  5. I wish my rear paint looked like that, but they must have screwed up on the clearcoat. It is not smooth at all around the badge and you can see it both with or without vinyl on. Your Spark has a totally smooth paint surface around the holden emblem that is very different than mine.... SADLY.
  6. I thought about that look, but you'd have to have a plotter to cut the vinyl that way and it'd be really hard to apply. You really don't want to cut a razor down the body line on top of the paint. It'd be a cakewalk to do with plasti-dip or with real paint in the HPLV setup. It'd be my suggestion if you wanted to do the full grill/logo/body lines to spray it, as it would be very difficult to wrap and look good comparatively. Plastidip is removable and looks very similiar to the vinyl, but it takes experience to get it to lay well.
  7. I love it, but I also think it'll look more complete when I finish the roof and spoiler. I did the front emblem as well.
  8. I got a mirror done today, plus my gas cap and super sticker - I like it a lot. The mirror cover should have been matte. Bad news for the emblem. I wanted to debadge the back or run the Holden Emblem, but it's not going to happen. IF you look closely in the pick, the paint has a small lift in it where the emblem was and it shows through the vinyl. Anything but the original logo would look weird.
  9. You really can't go wrong with mobile one, it's highly rated by pretty much everyone, except the amsoil gurus, but even they have to admit it's pretty great stuff.

    Wrappin'

I took a first shot at wrapping with vinyl and it didn't turn out too shabby. If you look close you can see imperfections, but all in all, I'm pleased with my amature attempt. I'm going to do the top, mirrors, emblem, and the hatch as well! Material is ORACAL 970RA Matte Black
  11. Yep, it's an easy universal connection, with the panel sitting on the lense for me. I don't have any vibration with it. It borders on being too bright.
  12. I bought both of these as well AWESOME lights and the dome light is super, super bright!
  13. I've researched them pretty extensively and am not purchasing anything till I see them on more cars as there is so little out there. I have not found any installs or good data on reasonable coilovers for the Spark, but found at least a couple Spring Companies that say they support the Spark with small drops... The KSpeed Storm springs for around 340 dollars 30 mm or 40 mm configurations The B&G Springs around 210 dollars ~1.4 front 1 Rear TORNADO Springs for 369 Dollars Unknown Drop I'm not dropping any money until I see more pics of them and reviews of them... and I want to know ho
  14. I got mine back. The new update took and they had to give me a brand new radio (with the plastic protector sheet still on it!) No scratches for the install either. I'm sure infotainment support is a stressed out place the last few weeks. The Sonic guys are having it out at them around the lack of real Android Support for Bringgo as well. One of my flagship phones (RAZR maxx) now finally works as of last week, but my HTC DNA still isn't "Supported".
  15. I saw those and was like... yeah sure. HUGE. It'd have to be a really tiny turbo and pretty high end ball bearing setup to do a performance upgrade on the car. It'd also probably have to run a standalone and redone fuel system. You're talking 5k to add not a crazy amount of WHP. I'd be more interested in suspension/sway/stiffening upgrades to the car before any more power is added.
