  1. It finally came to an end with the Spark, traded it in and got a brand new 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4. Couldn't be happier with my decision and even though it's a big change, the Eco mode on my truck brings the gas mileage down
  2. I had one as a rental and I did enjoy it, their peppy and fun to drive.
  3. Hmmm not sure if I like it or not. The front briefly reminded me of a Hyundai Accent. I have a love/hate relationship with my Spark however 2013-2015's are undoubtedly a Spark.
  4. I bought my Spark new back in 2013, with all the issues I was having I decided not to go forth with a speaker change. However now that is all settled, I have to change the speakers this spring. Everyone who sits in my car can't believe how bad they are and their comparable to a clock radio. I was looking at the; 4" Infinity Reference Coaxial ($139.99 CDN) 4"x 6" Infinity Reference Coaxial ($139.99 CDN) Infinity 10" Car Subwoofer (BASSLINK) ( $299.99 CDN) Has anyone upgraded to these? Figured going to have the Spark for a long time. I wish GM offered a sound package for the Spark to upgra
  5. Mine does it so often I have to book it back into the dealership and they have to bring in someone to work on it. It seems that the image of my MyLink shifts especially on cold days for example, to press play you have to go over to where the skip forward is. The image is sometimes so off you can't scroll or use any functions, however the power, volume up/down and home work. I was curious if anyone else has had this issue happen? and is there something like a cellphone where you can reset it by combining button combinations?
  6. Update: After my Spark got towed to the dealership January 12th, 2015. Finding nothing wrong with it, at pick up they said it could just be new engine breaking in. Touch wood with the new engine in I haven't experienced any issues that I was having, fires up even on the coldest of days. Let's hope it stays that way then I shall be a happy Spark owner :D
  7. I traded in my 2008 Pontiac G5 SE Sedan for the Spark 2LT.
  8. I really want to post I'm having an excellent time with my Spark, new engine solved the problem.....if it were only that simple. I picked my car up with the new engine December 23. 2014. A week later was pulling out of the parking lot at my work onto a busy main road, I had enough time from the oncoming traffic to pull out....had lost power. Car was revving into 7000rpm range and still had zero go to it, thankfully I didn't get hit from another car. I figured this was growing pains of a new engine, plus being winter and it just needed time to break in. From that week on I had to let off the g
  9. I wanted to give an update in regards to how my Spark is doing with the issues I have been having. Well it went in October again for the same issue, it spent 26 days at the dealership (I think at this point I was at 14 times for the same issue, I've lost count). The Spark received a brand new computer and had a bolt shaved down, engineers from GM thought this would resolve it and was told to track kilometres driven and gas stations filled up at. Last Monday Dec 8th, it acted up again with this ongoing issue so back it went and still don't have it back. I am so happy GM finally decided it was
  10. I'm at the point now that I am going to assume the internals of my engine are slowly turning to nothing more than a gooey mess. Back in a rental for almost a week again and this is the eleventh time for the same issue I have been struggling with since...I can't remember (seems like it's ongoing since I bought the car). I'll know tomorrow when I pick it up what they are reporting.
  11. Well good luck Hopefully all is well with your Ford, looks nice I'm having to rent a car for the long weekend because my Spark is so unreliable it's become a joke.
  12. That's unfortunate, mine has got to the point to randomly smoking out of the top of the hood, like it's overheating but then won't do it, took it in can't find anything.
  13. I have a love/hate relationship with my 2013 Spark 2LT which I bought brand new. I love my 2LT and all the features it has, especially the MyLink and the look of the car in the JalapeƱo with tinted windows. However if I had to go back and do it over I would buy something else, probably the Sonic or the 1LT Equinox AWD (I know more money). The issues I read from other users and from the three solid months mine has spent at the dealership has turned me off this car. Once my extended warranty runs out I'm getting rid of it and getting an Equinox (had a brand new one as a rental for two weeks and
  14. I think I have a whole separate problem now, after reading through the forums decided to check my oil and this is what I found. Where I drew the line is the oil in my car when it's sitting cold. I had my oil change back March 31, 2014 and the oil life monitor is reading 66% at the moment. Now I am exceptionally worried that something on a whole other level is happening.
  15. For me they have been amazing and very understanding of how frustrating this is. There's another person with this, so far three Spark owners with the exact same issues and symptoms, I'm glad to not be the only person facing whatever is wrong with the vehicle. If they could find out what is causing this I would be so grateful.
