  1. Here is a photo of mine. Maybe they forget to connect a cable to the clock spring or something like that. Also they dim and brighten with that dash dial along with the unlock buttons, radio, dash, and ac controls.
  2. I just replaced my dome/map light and cargo area with white LEDs. I have done this in other cars with great results. Here are some photos.
  3. Mine light up at night when I turn the headlights on. They also dim with the dash dial by the power mirror switch. Also my door lock buttons in the front doors light up too. They are all blue like the radio and ac knobs and switched. Every other spark on the dealer lot did the same. We looked at them at night. I saw the complaints on the net and was presently surprised when we test drove it. The only ones that don't light are the volume buttons.
  4. Thanks for getting back. I'm going to try to work on the Hideaway this weekend. I ordered carpet and need to buy the MDF wood too. I'm going to sink and flush thevHideaway in the floor. I'm also trying to make a removable panel to store the air pump, tire glue, and a set of jumper cables.
  5. I noticed this today also. I also seen that Bringgo has a website too. I can't wait for the app to be released. This is one of the things that made the Spark more appealing too.
  6. Do you cover the well up so its hidden below? How does it sound now? Are you happy with the bass? I have yet to hook mine up yet, maybe this weekend. Where did you go through the firewall for the battery? I asked you before why did you pull the radio trim when you can tap off the rear speakers for its signal. Also the manual says you don't need the remote wire. You can use the speaker level input to sense the signal and turn the Kicker on. Here is a photo of my front speakers, did it last night very easy. Just changing the speakers has made a big difference. The nice thing about the Kicke
  7. I installed the rear speakers today. I ended up grinding notches out of the mounting tabs to make sure the speaker is centered and using all 4 screws. I pulled out the speaker shelf out of the Spark which made its easier. The sound is s lot better than before. Now the fronts sound muffled compared to the rears. I'm going to change the fronts tomorrow. Then going to do the Kicker Hideaway. Hope no one minds me posting here since the speakers and sub are the same as thecrowtv's setup.
  8. Why did you need to remove the dash trim? The Kicker hideaway gets hooked up to the rear speakers, ground by the unit, and power ran to the battery. Also how does it sound? I'm going to remove the dash trim to install the color matched trim soon, I just need to order it.
  9. My dealer said they will not lease a Spark, so I paid cash.
  10. Greg, This is one of the main reasons I bought one to. It's been around the world for awhile with minor tweaks for USA standards.
  11. Sweet. I was going to wait for white but jalapeƱo was calling me.
  12. I don't think it will fit due to a airbag module under there. Besides this unit is very small even if you don't sink it in the tire well. I'm going to try it first just in the back before I build it in.
  13. Well after talking to Kicker today I went ahead and ran down to another Best Buy that stocked the Kicker Hideaway. The boxes looked a little beat up due to the security device they have around them. They reassured me that they are fine and of course they are fully returnable within 30 days. Plus the manager gave me another $20 off, sweet. So I bought it and opened it up in the car. Everything looks perfect and brand new sealed. Just got home and really looked at it and this thing is built like a tank, it's all cast metal, very solid. I hope it sounds good as well as it looks. The sinking in
  14. They will work because I can use the rear speakers as the high level input that the Hideaway requires. So the rear speaker adapters I will cut and put a pigtail in. One will still go to the rear speakers and the other will attach to the Hideaway harness for the high level signal. Basically kill two birds with one stone. The more I think about it I might go with the Kicker 10 inch bass station instead. I can still sink it into the rear tire well.
  15. thecrowtv, Thank you, I just ordered the Kicker KS 40 and KS 46. I already ordered the Metra speaker connectors last week so I would have them on hand when I would choose my speakers. The adapters will also allow me to hook up the Kicker Hideaway without cutting anything.
  16. That is awesome, thank you for posting that. It shows its only for the LT1 and LT2. Also it says price TBA. I figured it would be coming out because the owners manual has enable and disable grid lines as an option in the Mylink. I noticed it has the color matching center radio console. But the pictures only show the base radio, but there is a part number for the upgraded radio. I want this too.
  17. I'm leaning more towards the Kicker hideaway unit. It's only a 8 inch but that should be plenty to even things out. This will also allow me to pull out just the well foam and keep the fix a flat. With the Kicker KS and that sub it should be pretty good. I hope someone will come up with a way to hook up a backup camera to the Mylink also.
  18. I ended up getting mine 2 weeks ago and love every minute of my driving. It's a blast to drive with lots of comments. Main purpose for mine is cheap transportation to work. But the new Spark has become our family all around town car. Besides you can't beat a load car for under $15,000.
