  1. I'm about 7000 miles with mine too. For me that is almost a year.
  2. I never gave it a thought as I have electric locks.
  3. @GammaRadiation I'm with you.
  4. The paint code and matching has nothing to do with primer, or basecoat underneath. The he paint code serves at a benchmark for the factory color. That color if mixed properly will be exact to the original color from factory. Now, most major paint manufactures (DuPont and PPG) have variant chips. This allows you to pull the paint code in the body shop computer. It will list the factory code and every variant it will have for matching purposes. You take the variant chip book to the car and start comparing chips. Then once you find the correct chip you mix that variant.
  5. @Retired old Gearhead Everything you said plus have it visually checked for accident and bodywork. Carfax is good but most damage is never reported and paid out of pocket so it would not show on Carfax.
  6. It's been growing on me, just don't care for the bottom scrolling ad.
  7. You could use plasti dip to paint them black and if you don't like it peel it off.
  8. Here in the south I prefer the standard carpet mats. But I understand if your in snow, mud, and such those can be a great mat.
  9. You should be able to buy speaker wire adapters so you don't have to cut.
  10. Yes, the new layout and ads stink. You ou can select default (not copy of default) at the bottom of the page. It makes it a little better but not much.
  11. Yes, I run mine with normal, radio at 15 and Bluetooth around 20-25 depending on song.
  12. The fender your looking at is aftermarket just to let you know. To properly paint the fender to match they will have to blend the adjacent panels too. It's not cheap and you will get what you pay for. I used to work in autobody for 9 years.
  13. I believe those are custom. Can you post a picture?
  14. I have had mine hooked up for over 3 years. My first set of fronts one started to make a noise like rubbing voice coil. So I ordered a new pair and replaced them both. After I replaced them I noted the distorted very easy but the broke in pretty quick. I just faded to the rest a little more for a while. You could do the same because of the ohm load is great which is really more watts. You will need to add the sub as the 4" stink by them selves.
  15. Sorry to see ya go but the Jeep looks great. I hope you got $5000 and not $500.
  16. I have in my 2013 the volume to default to 15 on startup.
  17. I hear all your points. But why did they add a switch to models after 2013 to turn them off after startup each time? If someone with a 2014 turns them off would they to charged for disabling them?
