  1. I took my car in for an oil change yesterday. The service advisor said Ill need to bring my car back in a few days for the AC Service Bulletin. Sounds like its a near all day process so they're getting me a rental car.
  2. I went from a 2001 Kia Rio with 162k miles (had 30k when i got it in 2003) to the Spark. The Kia probably lasted 60k more miles than it should have, my buddy used to work at the Kia dealership and was surprised my car was still running but I also maintained the car unlike a lot of people. It got to the money where it was going to need a lot more work and I rather plunk money into a new ride. I got 10k miles on my spark already and I got it towards the end of January. So far Im glad I got the car we'll see how i feel in 5 years.
  3. upgraded the remote and antenna to the RF-1WG5-SS kit which is the one mile radius kit. Granted in the real world its not happening because thats line of sight. But it does improve the range quite a bit and i got it on ebay for $50.
  4. Has anyone installed a trunk release for the Spark yet?
  5. I paid 325 after tax to get it installed. Below is a picture of the remote off Ebay. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/COMPUSTAR-KEYLESS-REMOTE-FOB-FCC-044JR1600-1WAMR-1600-/00/s/NzIwWDk2MA==/$(KGrHqZHJEEFDN6t2SSZBQ728bERw!~~60_35.JPG It's a one way 1000 ft range remote.
  6. I had a remote start installed today on my Spark and im digging it. CompuStar FT-6200S-CONT Controller with iDatalink ADS-AL CA bypass module.
  7. Who here has a remote start unit for their spark? Did you have it professionally installed or self installed?
  8. I guess you know when you are due for a phone upgrade you better join team iphone! i was in portland a few weeks ago I always stop at burgerville and voodoo donut.
  9. which particular models, im not a big fan of android though.
  10. You know this unit is made by LG running Windows CE6 should be thankful it didnt blue screen. Anyway i havent seen any errors yet
  11. nah i didnt take pics it was quite the pain in the ass
  12. alright took the instrument panel apart. Non user replaceable lights, LEDS soldered onto the circuit board.
  13. this evening i tried accessing the light is under the A/C and Heat panel the one that shines near the cupholders and the usb port. It looks like lights on a circuit board type deal. I gotta figure out how to replace that light with a red one.
  14. Do you notice that this car gets dinged up a lot from rock chips?
