  1. this is a late reply but i love this. how do you release the shifter to change gears? do you have to push down on it?
  2. i second that. i have a multi-USB port permanently plugged into my 12v socket to power an extra device if need be. in fact, since i use MyLink / Android Auto all the time in the factory USB port, i have a special daisy chain wire that allows my phone to get an extra charge boost: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047AALS0/ basically my phone plugs into two USB ports at once. the factory port so it can communicate with the dash, and my 12v charger so it actually charges. the MyLink port is USB 1.0 and is very weak.
  3. i have an automatic but it it'd be nice to change it out someday. I heard that kits existed that adapt to the button automatic knobs have. if i find out how I will change mine.
  4. i can't remember what the brand was, but i bought it at my local AutoZone. it's made of either silicone or rubber. i was going to buy two until i realized that a rear license plate bumper is useless on the spark as it is too high & recessed to guard anything. also, make sure you buy longer plate screws.
  5. i decided i liked the look of black wheels so i removed the wheel covers on my 2016 spark and sprayed black Plasti Dip onto them. also: changed to long, curly q antenna, thin red pinstripe, NAF chrome letter badge (see username, stuck onto door), matching tan steering wheel cover, taxicab seat beads, rear view mirror dice
  6. i definitely wanted rubber floor mats for my 2016 Spark (since i regularly have to drive into snowy/wet areas). i checked during the fall and the official Chevy Accessories site has the full set. i bought them and they're a perfect fit, all four seats. Part number is 42473310. I'm going to assume that the 2017s are not that much different.
  7. I've got a 2016 Spark and it has both MyLink and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. I don't use Android Auto too much but I'll be looking out for any new hacks on MyLink. It appears that the original method, which was tapping the upper left-hand corner of the screen ten times, no longer works on this new model. I also don't know how to get the firmware version, as the Settings page only has open source information.
