  1. Yes, the 2016 LS is very basic: no cruise, manual seats, windows, mirrors, and door locks. We have one and are happy with what we paid for what we got. I think its lack of power goodies while having a nice infotainment screen and backup cam is rather charming.
  2. My household has had a 2016 Spark CVT since February. It took some getting used to, but I like it just fine.
  3. I'd be happier with the rear door handle on the door like the Karl has, a get a bit more window. Regardless, I like to check out the 2016 Spark reviews around the world on YouTube, and the Spark websites in the assorted markets as well.
  4. Have a look at the 2016 Spark's German cousin, the Karl: http://www.opel.de/fahrzeuge/modelle/personenwagen/karl/index.html
  5. I believe in most, if not all states, a moving car must be in gear, probably so the driver may respond to an emergency. I have a CVT Spark as well, and occasionally will coast in Neutral on long inclines that I am familiar with.
  6. Seeking a modest extra car for my household, I shopped the usual $17k-and-under subcompacts, bought a 2016 Spark LS CVT. I had originally rejected the Spark due to its tiny size, but gave it a try while looking at a Sonic. Turned out the Spark felt much bigger inside than outside, and I liked the 2016's understated exterior. I wanted the manual, but nobody else was willing to learn to drive a stick. We've had the car for about a month now, and the more time I spend in it, the better I like it. Considering its price and size, I'm pleasantly surprised by the Spark's airy interior, handling, info
  7. I had been shopping for an automatic Spark for my daughter since November, decided to wait and see what the 2016 models and pricing were. Browsed online every other day or so, got serious in February because my $1000 GMCard bonus would end on 2/29/16. One morning around 10am I found a base 2016 LS CVT on sale about 100 miles away. Called the dealer, after a few back & forth calls had the final price. Got a check from the bank, insurance sorted out, and arrived at the dealer about 5pm, back on the road by 6:30pm. 14,635.00 MSRP 342.00 Tax & tags -3,735.00 Dealer discount -1,292.24 GM c
