Hi! Welcome! I hope you are loving your new Spark! Last year I bought a left over 2015 2LT and it was awesome! Unfortunately I smashed it last week and now it's totaled . Looking for a good deal on a new one. Maybe I'll find another leftover.
  2. Mine was brand new as well. The sound started a week after I rolled it off the lot. The shield is in a really tight spot between the engine, a pump, and a belt. It had come completely disconnected and looked like it could bounce and hit the belt at any time. The area is so tight that even though it was not connected AT ALL it was unable to fall out of the car and would get wedged. it only rattled at a certain speed or acceleration and my wife had to show the mechanic at the dealership where it was because he couldn't find it either. I hope this helps. You might get lucky with this s
  3. Check the heat shield on the water pump. That's what mine was.
  4. I forgot to check under my hood, but I did make a small observation. I'm not sure if it's just my car or what, but it seams like when I turn off the traction control and stabilitrack I have more power when I have the AC on. I am able to accelerate much better than when it is turned on with AC running. I figure as long as its not raining or snowing it should be ok off. I wouldn't necessarily have the AC on in rain or snow either, so no need to turn TC off. Turning TC and stabilitrack off and also having the AC off seams to have a sort of smoothness to the CVT as well. Can anyone else repli
  5. @skids Cool, I'll look tomorrow. @heymark Thanks for the link, that's exactly what I was looking for. All it has listed is the key chime recall.
  6. I agree about the A/C running and slow acceleration off the line. The other day I almost got hit because it just wouldn't go when I needed it to. It only recently got hot enough to warrant the A/C being on around here so I am only having my first experience with it this way. So far I haven't noticed any other issues with the car except the occasional hopping/bouncing effect at some lower speeds. I rolled my 2015 2lt off the lot in February of 2016 so I imagine this recall was already done. Is there a way I can see what has been done to my car without actually calling the dealer?
  7. It's not really a problem, it's not even really noticeable unless you are really paying attention or really know the track. I think it happens more when you are skipping through tracks and less when it is just playing through them normally. It just cuts off the first second or two.
  8. I do notice this on my 2015 with my android phone and also using usb mp3
  9. That is what I thought! That's why Im here reading this thread, to see if that is the case.
  10. I had this very similar experience. Turned out to be the water pump heat shield. It's this piece of metal on the left side of the motor that is almost as thin as a soda can. Mine was completely disconnected and basically just hanging out in the engine compartment. I tried to pull it out but there were too many wires and tubes in the way to actually remove it. I just took it to the dealer and they put it back on for me.
  11. My driver side rear KS46 keeps falling out. I got the other one in fine. I'll just keep trying and if all else fails, I'm grabbing some duct tape. Sounds way better than those stock speakers! I'm gonna see if my local shop can fabricate something like that in floor kicker hideaway for me.
  12. Just lets us know what you find after you rip off the door panel. I have a 2015 but I'm still interested in all things spark. Good luck!
  13. Hey SpaceCowboy! Hows it sound? Does it feel like pieces are gonna fall off the car?
