Replacing Headlight Wiring Harness

I'm replacing the headlight wiring harness in my 2014 Spark so I can install higher wattage headlights. The kit I got is complete but has no instructions. What I need to know is do I have to remove the module (?) with the headlight fuse to plug this harness in? Thanks in advance, Larry
