  1. I hate to dig up old posts, but this one really saved me a lot of trouble. To add to the info above I purchased the Rosta kit for my 2015 LS w/CVT. The dealer wouldn't install it so I did it myself. Took about an hour tops including soldering in the three connections that you'll need to splice under the dash. The rest is a total plug-n-play operation. The biggest problem I had was trying to find a good spot to place the controller/computer from the kit. I found that if you pop off the fuse panel and pop out the side panel adjacent to the door that you'll find a nice pocket there to mount
  2. I went with Brutus for mine. There's a story behind it as my old Mini was named Roxanne. Roxanne went 100 kinds of wrong and left me stranded in New Orleans and is sitting in Baton Rouge being practically rebuilt from the ground up at the BMW/Mini Mega Corp Stealership of soul rape and tears. Her breakdown was right in front of a Chevy dealership and that's where Brutus was parked on the curb. The big $10,990 tag screaming out to me to buy it now and send the Mini into pleasure duty / toy car retirement. As the flatbed took the Mini away I was already signing paperwork. So here he is..
  3. Glad to see frustration free experiences so far for those of you in the 50k+ range. I took delivery of a 2015 LS two weeks ago to replace my aging Mini Cooper S as my business beater. The Mini is to be retired to project car / pleasure duty while the Spark will be getting the full wrath of my lead foot and iron butt. My car had 2 miles on the ODO when I drove it off the lot and I'm already at 750 miles just 12 days later. By this time next year I'll probably be around the 25 to 30k range. It took me less than 4 years to rack up 122k on the Mini before it had to go in for a rebuild. Here'
