  1. It appears that this happens only if you take your foot off the accelerator awhile you are accelerating up to 25mph.
  2. Ok. I would have to look to see when it was buit. It is like the transmission doesn't know what gear it should be, in 1st or 2nd gear when I'm going about 25mph. Transmission will be 2nd gear and then it change to 1st gear and then back to 2nd gear.
  3. When starting off from a stand it seems that the CVT upshifts to soon for 2nd gear then when I'm going about 25mph the transmission it then downshifts back to 1st gear then back to 2nd gear. The CVT works great all the rest of the time. Could this be fixed with the TSB software that I have read on here about?
  4. Yep, the crack isn't in the picture that I posted. I just wanted to know if the dashboard has the blue trim in it.
  5. I was looking into replacing my dash board has I have cracked it. Found two part numbers for the dash, Part# 95107351 is without the blue trim, Part# 95107348 with the blue trim. Does mine have the blue trim?
  6. My 15 Salsa 1LS is named Elmo. Small Red Monster.
  7. I have the automatic one. To some this could be a inexpensive car, and others a expensive car. For me it is a expensive car, since I don't make a lot of money. I only buy want I need and not what I want. I tired to fix the issue myself by cutting some of the foam padding off, took it to dealership to have them check it out, was told that I'm not the only one. Service manager has seen a lot of vehicles not just the Spark come in with the same exact problem but there's was easier to fix, just order a new foam pad and install it and then your done. The dealer was willing to work it out, but GM d
  8. I did cut the piece off as I got tired of looking at it. Service person was kinda of angry that I did it. I was driving in a Cruze (a little more $ then the Spark, but not a lot) it had foam sticking up in the same place as my Spark. Had a 2005 Grand Marquis, never one problem with anything expect it got a very low gas mileage. The money I spent on the Spark, it should be flawless of any defects or it gets fixed since I have a bumper to bumper warranty.
  9. Yep, it was a black piece of soft wool padding.
  10. Was driving my 2015 Spark with the drivers side window rolled down. All the sudden a piece of foam appears from the back of the dash near the windshield. Took my car into the dealer so that they could fix the problem. Service person said that he would order a new dash or a new foam pad that is under the dash and that this would fix the problem. Got a call two weeks later that the dash came and that I would need to leave my car for a few days for them to fix it. Dropped my car off and was given a loaner car. Five days went by and I got yesterday to come and pick up my car, was told that the d
  11. Just came across this message board. Traded in my gas hog 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis on Monday (7/6/15) on a brand new 2015 Spark 1LS auto in Salsa. Spark is way better on gas and on road handling compared to the Mercury. I'm sure glad I bought my Spark when I did, as I see next years is getting face lift on the front and new instrument panel. I like the current set-up, looks like a motorcycle instrument panel. I was looking at some other small cars like the Smart and Fiat but I think I picked the right one as I heard a lot of bad things about the other cars. Also when I told the sales perso
