i fought this battle for a long period , no luck ,finally contacted main chev hq said they cant do ,,as agreed with dealers to let them handle ,,but you must find dealer with key cutter ,maker and employee that knows how to do it ,,found it was far cheaper to order spare keys thru chev dealer than anywhere else , you must prove ownership and have vin no.to order right key blank ,then dealer cuts and programs key. i got 5 done at Jim Sigel, Chev-honda-nissan dealer in grants pass ,oregon,, a big dealer and have the eqpt and personel to do it . found them cheaper than any other source and no

mine LS, 5 speed with now 2245miles , showing average of 41 here in so oregon ,but i am 35 hwy miles to,town and a small bit of town driving and home again ,,speed limit is 55 in oregon so im old and am observing for now ., i am using gas without ethanol for now ,,can only get it with 91 or 92 octane in 2 local,stations with one pump of it each, guess its legal,to put in cars now at the pump for long time it wasnt . but so many complaints its ruined so many small,engines and carbs and caused problems with newer cars too they had to,do somethng. but its expensive 4.70 or such a gallon, no

thanks Tony,, well i removed the muffler on my 93 merc topaz ,some time back, and let the catalaytic converter muffle it ,and added a small hollow muffler type,can with 2 outlets on the rear, sorta sounded better and added a bit . was thinking of same with the spark. water pump,went on my topaz and no one wants to try to replace it ,,too difficult ,one place said they did one for 800 dollars but will never do another one, too difficult , so guess ill let it set a while and concentrate on my spark,, i was thinking also of that chip for 69.00 that claims to add HP and mileage thats advertised

am old guy,korean war army vet, if that tells you my age ,lol, this 2014 spark,will probably be my last new car or ,last car period . got on sept 5th 5 days after my birthday ,it was a 1700 miles turn in to a toyota dealer for a pickup,the guy needed more room for his bussiness hauling ,probably a paper boy or something, still on full warranty and seems absolutely perfect so far ,,love it . it is a white LS 5 speed . 2014. i live very rural here in oregon and have several older vehicles setting around . but this is my baby and know im going to really enjoy it. got a heck of good deal on it
