  1. Thanks, I really like Spark too and I want to buy it. You know, I have to wait for them fixing the problem. The dealership can't sell it.
  2. Have anyone heard from dealerships. Did they fix the hood problem?
  3. Do I need to pay monthly fee for LoJack? I don't know why my dealer's car has this system which has been already installed? Can I ask them to remove them?

  5. OK. Thanks. The salesman told me his car has LoJack and Onstar service. I might make mistake. I guess he means the same thing. I know LoJack costs a couple of hundred dollars.
  6. I stopped by a dealer and they told me they are still fixing the hood problems. I am looking for Spark 2014 LS automatic. They told me that their Spark LS has Lojack and road service system (I thought LT will have this add-on). I know the Lojack system. I am not clear about the road service. What he showed me is a button, when you push it and it will send signal/messenger to closest car service place. Someone will come and fix it. I know AAA has similar service, but you need to buy service and call them. My questions are: 1>Does every Spark LS come with Lojack and road service system? 2&
  7. I stop by another dealership today. They told me that it's VIN related but not every Spark has this problem.
  8. Hopefully this is not a big problem. I still see a lot people drive Spark now.
  9. Did your dealership tell you when this problem will be fixed? I asked mine. He has no idea. I feel it is gonna take long time.
  10. Yes. I called them again this morning. They give me the similar explanation. The only thing that makes me confused is that I can't drive on road, but they can still sell it to me? Did your salesman tell you that you can buy it at this time? or They can legally sell it to you? What if this is a major problem? How could I drive this unsafe car on road? Also, they recommended Sonic if I worried about Spark. They told me they are similar (Spark and sonic). Does anyone know what the price difference between these two cars (Spark and Sonic, if both 2014, automatic LS)
  11. Thanks. I think you're right. I call other dealership and ask them if I can do test driving? They all said OK. It seems that they didn't hear of the hood problem.
  12. Hi Bluer101, Thanks. If there is a problem as the salesman says, is there any rules that I can do test driving before they fix the car. It really makes confused. You know. He told that he can still sell it to me? If he sells it to me. I will definitely drive it on road. I am trying to figure out if he is lying. If he lies, I won't trust anything he says (price, etc). Ben
  13. So, you think he is lying? There is no so called hood problems? Why do they decline me test driving? Every body does test driving when they buy a car? Is this a GM dealership rule? How could they sell a car, if they don't let customers drive. This is so ridiculous!!!
  14. Hi, I stopped by a dealership today and wanted to have a test driving for a Spark. The salesman told me that if you don't buy it today, you can't drive. I think this is weird. I asked why I can't drive. Later, he tells me that Spark is stopping selling now (This is what I understand, I might make mistakes), because the company find a problem of the hood. According to the dealer, he says it is a minor problem and could affect the car after 20 years. You know the dealer always says it's not a big deal. He says that they needs to update all Sparks and then I can do test driving. I ask him when
